Having lived in Singapore for almost 10 years, I have a fair idea of Thai cuisine. However, I was in for a disappointing experience when we dined in at Peak Thai. The satay, a trademark Malaysian Singaporean dish, was not even skewered. It looked like a piece of chicken, beaten flat and fried. Tasted nothing like the satay I have eaten almost 18 years ago. The consoling grace was the peanut sauce, which somehow made me smile.My own entree was loaded with sodium and boiled shrimps added to it. The sauce was close to the brim, and I had to make sure I didn't spill it. Also, the bowl it is served was quite tricky to use to de-tail the shrimps.The rice noodles that our sons ordered did not look like the bee hoon served in Asia. Anyway, as it's a small business, I don't want to negatively review them. Perhaps the dish I chose was not a signature dish.The saving grace is the Mango sticky rice dessert. It's delicious.The waitress is amazing, singlehandedly managing all the tables in the restaurant.

Nice thai place in Lombard I went on ash weds as well as valentines day so I picked vegetarian dishes as i wasnt eating meat. I was really impressed at all the dishes everything was delicious and tasty. the service was super fast too we didn't wait that long and the waitress was friendly. it's more a pick up and go place however there are tables set up for 2 to 4 ppl within the restaurant and it's very cozy and clean inside. highly recommend this place I'll be back again.

This time we ordered the chicken kee mao and the chicken panang curry. Both were nothing like they used to be. The service is still pretty good. The food is Halal, which is a huge plus. Hopefully they can get their food back to the old standards.

One of best Thai spots in the western burbs. Initial visits were a bit slow in service, but having been open for a few months now they’ve found their groove. Love the pad see ew noodles and Tom kha soup from here.
