Pinched is one of my favorite restaurants ever. I started going to this original Lombard location when I lived there and would go there at least twice a month. Now that I am in the city, I was thrilled when Pinched on the River was introduced. The food is phenomenal. Original recipes, quality ingredients, and amazing flavor. Haven't anything like this anywhere. SO GOOD.

I’ve been eating at Pinched since Ranka opened up her restaurant in the burbs always fresh delicious and a friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait for summertime to sit outside on the river. Absolutely my go to restaurant and one of my favorite places to eat. So so so delish

I wish they listed their Lombard location as closed on their website. We were unpleasantly surprised to see that they're renovating and will partner up with a different company some time in the future. I know the pandemic has thrown everything in disarray, but this is a standard and simple thing to do for your customers. Fortunately there's other descent options in the same strip-mall complex.

Ordered delivery for dinner the other night based on the Yelp reviews. The pita and hummus, for what you get, is pretty overpriced. I think the pita to hummus ratio is a little off. We both got chicken shawarma even though I ordered the kebab (maybe they were out?). It was good and you get a big serving of all of the sides! The light garlic sauce was my favorite part. Really 3.5/5 but rounding up to 4

mediterranean food and the atmosphere at this spot is excellent. service is always excellent even when they have a full house. the service here is friendly. prices that won't break you.

went to Pinched today for lunch and was disappointed to find out.... that since they first opened I've always gotten there chicken schwarma (best ever), then today I tried the lemon lime chicken breast... and it's even better. I've been missing out on it this whole time. might even try something else next time.

It was okay for the price disappointed in the humus and pita though for the price. Only like 10 slices of pita for a whole container of humus. Also the humus is not creamy if that is what you like.
smaller portions higher prices! my girlfriend and I had been coming to pinched for years. because of covid-19 they had closed for a few months and only had their chicago location open. when they finally reopened we were eager to visit once again because it had been so long. what a disappointment! when we arrived we realized that for a bed of greens the toppings were no longer unlimited, you can only pick four (also upon arrival I didn’t see any familiar faces, it was all new staff and the vibe just felt different) despite the limited toppings the price had gone up (less food equals more money?)! but for pinched we were willing to pay the increased amount. we placed our order to go and when we got home to eat it we realized that they had got our toppings wrong, the quality of the food was poor and the amount of food was underwhelming! we won’t be going back any time soon, hopefully this gets fixed, we’re really disappointed.

The chicken shawarma was frankly gross. It looked nothing like the other pictures here. It was very red and extremely greasy. Despite being greasy it tasted dried out. I think I was served a scoop of chicken which had been sitting out a long time. The rest of the food was good.
