Excellent Italian Restaurant…. The name doesn’t sound Italian, but the food really proves it!!It’s better than the Italian Village restaurant in Chicago Loop….that’s where the chef used to cook.

Everything is homemade from scratch, and just delicious! I've tried so many things on their menu and most recently tried their special pasta with asparagus in a lemon cream sauce and it was just heaven. I have to mention I'm GF and their fresh homemade GF noodles are the best I've ever had! Between the charming atmosphere and the amazing food, Rosemary and Jeans is just a jewel of a spot.Dietary restrictions: Amazing GF options

In all my years I have never found a cuter restaurant. A house that turned into a restaurant, it is so quaint and homey. Tried the Parmesan Pork chop and it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was to die for. I would eat that sauce over anything. It was my first time coming and I will come many more

I was so hoping to find a neighborhood gem....Upon walking in, things smelled a bit musty, not overwhelming but not a good start. The seating to the left looked interesting but the bar to the right is not someplace you would cozy up to for a beverage, it was a bit austere and uninviting. We dined on the second floor which was very disappointing as this was an old house. I was expecting character and warmth but was seated in a somewhat no personality room at a cafeteria table. There is a private room that I glimpsed on the way to the restroom that looked intriguing, I could see it for a nice shower, bday, retirement, etc. event. Our server was wonderful, she was enthusiastic and attentive, quickly corrected a drink error that was not a concern to begin with but she deserves credit. My husband enjoyed his meatball sub, my GF/DF daughter had her usual GF pasta with red sauce and no cheese, this is basically the same no matter where we go. My chicken parm was disappointing though, very overdone and dry overall. Spouse says we should try again but I'm not so sure.

We waited a while at the table for awhile (15 minutes), sounded like no one knew who was waiting on us. Once waitress asked if we were waited on she apologized and was really nice. Overall food was OK..somewhat limited menu but was nice place. Extremely loud and probably should look for noise buffering.

Tried the shrimp linguine with spinach and sun dried tomatoes. It was so salty I couldn’t eat it after a bit. It was swimming in a broth, description says evoo and garlic, not wine or broth. Definitely did not look like pictures on their website. I should have sent it back and requested something else but needed to get home. My brother got the Tuscan cod and he wasn’t thrilled, thought it was bland. Great calamari though.

Finally had a chance to try this place after hearing a lot of hype and seeing good reviews online. We were seated promptly (we had made a reservation) and all of the employees were very pleasant. Unfortunately we were seated in a porch area off the main dining room but it was open to the dining room so it was fine. It was quite noisy overall because there is nothing to absorb the sound. Also unfortunately there was a table of four in the room that was having a very loud conversation with just about every curse word you can imagine which was surprising in such a quaint restaurant. We ordered our food right away, no drinks, and things came out pretty quickly. We got a small serving of bread, barely enough for one person but they did bring out a little more. There was grated cheese with the bread but no oil. Apparently they only have a few little bottles of oil in the whole restaurant and our busser had put some in a plate on top of the bread plates on the table and we hadn't noticed. If the server hadn't pointed it out we would have had a mess on our hands, literally. The food came out in a decent sized portion but there were no sides and no salad. This was disappointing because each pasta meal cost $20 and you basically got a small serving, so I think it was overpriced. For the portion we got with no sides/salad and very little bread I wouldn't expect to pay over $15. My husband had the lasagna which he was enjoying until he pulled out a fairly large piece of plastic wrap. Thankfully he didn't swallow it. When we pointed it out to the server, she explained that they wrap the lasagna portions in plastic wrap like it was normal to expect plastic in your food. We didn't expect anything free but thought we should at least be comped in some way for this. It left us with a bad feeling about the restaurant. Overall the food was very good and our server was attentive but due to the high prices and memory of a foreign substance in the food, I'm not sure we would return.

Overall great experience! Delicious food! We had the arancini, chicken piccata, and the orecchiette with rapini and sausage. Everything was so good! Everything was reasonably priced. Heather was very friendly.

We had an amazing experience, very accommodating . Had a drink or so before ordering appetizer: calamari, then had some salads beet salad, absolutely delicious. Eggplant Parm, Tuscan Braised Cod, Spinach ravioli and Butternut Squash ravioli were the entrees ordered, everything was delicious and enjoyed to the fullest! Three of the four had Cappuccino's which they really enjoyed. Definitely coming again and happy this was chosen.

I ordered lamb chops which were not great. The sausage appetizer was really good. Wine service was poor, I felt bad for the women struggling to open or bottle. We were sat next to a baby who was being fed under their mother's shirt and would cry. Not the romantic spot we had heard about. Fine for a neighborhood spot. Really it was fine, but left disappointed and unimpressed.

Great new experience! A lovely venue in a house- we dined in an upstairs room with just two other tables on Valentines Day - very romantic. The service was excellent - prompt and really friendly. We had fettuccini Alfredo and spaghetti, with a calamari appetizer - all cooked perfectly. Also, they have a great wine list. So glad we tried it! We will definitely be back!

Our server Mary, was delightful, helpful, engaging and fun. The food was delicious, the calamari app was good, I enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, the parmesan crusted porkchop was juicy and tasty. The creamy sweet cheesecake was a perfect finish. The ambiance was warm and cozy. We will be back!
