I had the chicken teriyaki and didn't car for it. It had been a long time since I ordered from there so I decided to try it again today. I order beef teriyaki with noodle and extra sauce. It was so good! I am glad I came back and I will order here again!

My husband and I were at the Yorktown Center food court, The Eatery, and we decided to eat at Sarku Japan. We ordered the Teriyaki chicken with extra chicken. This came with fried rice and vegetables, although the portion of vegetables was very small. They made up for it giving us a giant mound of chicken. They food was very good and convenient. I highly recommend Sarku Japan.

For Sarku locations in the mall, I do feel that this has a little better cooking overall than some of the other locations I've been to. The amount of chicken they also provide is quite generous, easily able to be shared amongst several people. As most people order the chicken teriyaki, the line moves reasonably fast as well.

This place has the best teriyaki chicken plate I have ever had. They grill up the chicken right in front of you and the teriyaki sauce gives it a wonderful juicy flavor. Comes with rice and vegetables which really makes it a great meal served quickly and with quality. I usually get the extra chicken, which makes it even better and very filling.I only wish they still had the spicy chili garlic sauce in the squeeze bottle they used to put out, but they dropped that in favor of basic Sri Racha packets. Not the same at all. I found the same chili garlic sauce at the grocery "Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce." I bring a little container of it with me when I go. Disappointing, but problem solved.

Love their food, its SO good. The app doesnt reflect the same time that they say they open and you cant order until 11:30 ( on the app) but they open at 10:30AM. All of their deals are IN APP only so its bogus. PLEASE

First of all, half of the menu was slashed, so I wasn’t able to order what I originally wanted to get. Then I ordered before I watched the food made and that was my next mistake. The grossest looking pieces of chicken are fried in oil on the griddle and it was very unappetizing. Once I had my food and sat down, I only got through a few pieces of the chicken teriyaki before I had to throw it away. The chicken was greasy and the teriyaki flavor was virtually nonexistent. The “vegetables” consisted of overcooked cabbage and a few pieces of unseasoned broccoli. Not ordering from here ever again.

We have eaten at this place many times. Today as im waiting in line, one of the cooks was picking his nose and didnt bother to wash his hands before going back to cooking. Really disappointed the other employees didnt tell him anything either. Will not be eating there again.

For mall "Japanese," this is excellent. The chicken teriyaki over soba noodles was sweetly flavored perhaps a little too sweet--and very filling. They're fairly generous on their entre portions, which is good because their sides--e.g., veggie and chicken eggrolls and dumplings--are very underwhelming, size-wise. There's an upcharge for fountain drink refills.
