I feel sorry for this establishment. No one is ever here. I always see a woman behind the counter, all by herself, waiting for someone to order something. I felt sorry for her one day and patronized her. I ordered a 2 wing dinner. It comes with a roll and fries. She gave me 3 wings instead. Thank you. The wings were tasty and seasoned but very small. The drum of the wing was not bigger than the top to the sauce container. Roll and fries were ok. Well, my visit here explains my first paragraph.

I was disappointed in Surf's up YorktownThe wings and shrimp taste like they were fried in old grease and the fries were not the homemade fries I was used to eating. The fries were frozen from a bag. The shrimp was not jumbo. They were more like regular shrimp..

I ordered 10 wings with fries and was told to come back 15 minutes to pick up my order. I came back 20 minutes later and the food wasn't ready. There was no line, no one waiting. It took them 1 hour to give me my food. No apology, didn't even say thank you. Service means a lot to me. I enjoyed my last order of food from here. Please work on customer service. There were 2 employees working.

i ordered fried lobster dinner, full of flour, not much inside. Looks like they only served half real lobsters, rest is flour. Their cheesy garlic muffin is crap. Not as described. No taste of cheese or garlic and was crumbled. Overpriced. Does not recommend those and will not go back. I'm only reviewing above tho they have other food I have not tried.

This place is straight fire. Took a little time to get my food but was worth every bit of the wait. Food was piping hot and the fish was JUICY & CRISPY. its not the cheapest place on the block, but ill spend for this kind of quality. Portions were also very fair. Ill be going back 100%

Absolutely delicious! It's been a week and I can't get my mind off these wings I don't live extremely close to the mall but we will gladly just get in the car and make the trek for these wings! Let me tell you, I live down the street from 6 chicken restaurants so we have many options but Surfs Up honestly has the best flavor and crunch. It's one thing for the chicken to be crispy and moist and well seasoned on the outside. It's another thing for the actual meat of the chicken to be penetrated by all those seasonings and that's what most chicken places miss! They cover their chicken in sauce so you can't really taste the flavor or sauceless there is no flavor. This was the first time in a long time I didn't use hot sauce, mild sauce or anything! The chicken was just that good! Also the special dust seasoning adds a fantastic flavor component. If you have the extra coins try the Hennessy wings! They are so good! Honestly it's such a great value here too. So many places these days offer you 10 chicken to wings when they really mean 5 wings cut in half Surfs Up means WHOLE wings when they take your order so automatically you're getting your moneys worth. Paired with the sides like Mac and cheese and the greens you cannot go wrong here. I'll gladly make the drive all the way beyond my neighborhood because that is just how good the food is. Do not miss out just because it seems as if the location is out of the way. It's fairly easy to get to and absolutely worth it!!!

I had a break between my classes and was craving some seafood but I didn't know any good places near me and I stopped at Yorktown for a Philly cheesesteak. I am so happy that I saw Surfs up. I ordered a catfish po boy and everything was so fresh and the breaded catfish was perfect. I definitely recommend stopping by and giving them a chance they will definitely surprise you.

Where do I begin....clean restaurant and friendly staff. I walked in during their fight viewing party they were hosting one evening. With the crowd, food came out fresh and very tasty. Everything is made to order so definitely practice patience. So either call it in or run an errand real quick if you don't want to wait. I ordered the Triple Play and it was fried to perfection. The fish wasn't "fishy" which is good and the fries weren't drowning in grease either like most restaurants. If def happy and so was my belly! I'll be back for sure!

Ordered the fried lobster po boy, red potatoes with corn, mac and cheese, fried biscuits, and shrimp corn chowder. I was told that their biscuits would taste better than Cinnabon. That was 100% accurate. Everything was tasty. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the portion size. It seems a bit small for what you're paying for, despite everything being tasty. Just a bit on the small side.
