If you are a fan of St. Louis Chinese food, this is the place to go! Their fried rice is just like fried rice from St. Louis. I ordered chicken fried rice with a side of gravy, I did not need to add soy sauce at all.

Been a customer for several years, but not any more. Our king pao chicken was all watery and had no flavor, not even spicy. We gave it to the dog. Our beef kow was mostly broccoli and, again, had no flavor. Very boring food. Curious: I arrived early to pick up and it was waiting for me…they could have taken the time to cook the food better.

Restaurant completely messed up my delivery order twice. Asked to speak to manager and the manager argued with me on what I ordered. He later then offered a free meal on my next order instead of bringing me my original order. He put me on hold so I tried calling again just for him to hang up on me. Worst experience and I’ve been a customer for over 3 years. Definitely lost me after that!
The fried chicken wings were stale. But the rest of the food was okay!

First off they got my order wrong. I ordered 2 orders of egg rolls ( 4 )and I had a coupon for one free order. I told him one of those would be free. Instead he charged me for the 4 and gave my 2 more for free. I also ordered o e order of 2 vegetarian egg rolls and received a half order. I ordered the teriyaki beef appetizer, way overcooked!! Dry and super hard to chew. I ordered the orange chicken, the sausage was like an orange marmalade. The chicken was stuck together and not cooked through. I ordered 2 other dinners that were just ok. Since the last time I was there the prices have gone up about $ per dinner. That’s a huge increase. I’m sorry but if you want to raise your prices that much your food must keep its quality. I always liked the food here but I’m not sure I will come back. Yes it was that bad.

Amazing human beings run this place! I was having the worst day yesterday as a mental health professional. (Literally three clients has sudden losses of a spouse/fathers this past week). At the end of the day, I wanted nothing more than some good comfort food. I googled Jade Garden and placed an order online. I waited the 1/2 hour and went to retrieve my order only to find that they didn't have one. It didn't take long for me to realize that I ordered from the wrong Jade Garden. Despite my best effort, the tears started rolling as I called and asked if they could cancel my $60 order. I explained that I was sitting in front of a Jade Garden and just realized my error that I ordered from the wrong one. I was told that my order was already made. I think I mumbled something about donating it as I was sitting in front of Jade Garden in VALPARAISO, IN and could not get it. In an act that I can only explain as being one of true compassion, the person said they would cancel my order. I write this not because of the returned money (although I'm extremely grateful) but rather to tell anyone interested that a restaurant is more than just its food and service. I really needed a "win" yesterday and you delivered just that! Thank you, Jade Garden! You are a true class act!
