I love Hy-Vee because of the wonderful customer service. I also like their tenderloins and chicken fritters. Their Chinese food is pretty good, too.

Thank you to the AMAZING bakery department at Hy-Vee in Macomb, IL! I planned my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday party long distance (we live in Minneapolis, MN). I spoke to the bakery staff about my vision for her centerpiece cake, cupcakes and a full sheet cake. Everything looked and tasted fantastic! Thank you again!

My daughter was getting married and the person she had doing her cake text her at 2:30 in the afternoon saying her cake was ruined and her wedding was at 3:00. I called the Hy-Vee bakery and spoke with Ellen and she was the most fantastic woman ever, she saved the day. She made us a cake in about a 40 minute time frame, it was a beautiful cake, and it turned out fantastic. It tasted good. I cannot say enough how much we appreciated her going above and beyond for us and getting us a cake, something that my daughter to have pictures with, Thank you so so much Ellen!

I walked into the pharmacy about 5 minutes before closing to pick up prescriptions for my baby girl. Her prescriptions weren’t ready yet, but Whitney found them in the system and she and Kassandra filled them for me, and they even gave me some cute alligator spoons for dosing. I’m so grateful for their helpful smiles im the pharmacy aisle tonight!

Made two stops at Hy-Vee in Macomb Illinois one was at the grocery store it fairly reasonable service was great plenty of cashier was open they was busy but very courteous and fast. My second stop was at the filling station across from the store got a bag of ice good size bag for the same price of smaller bags at another place .also got gas didn't use no rewards card and paid about four cents more but that was OK and they was courteous and friendly inside there were convenience store I do recommend stopping in several types of gas with ethanol without ethanol and premium E 85 so if you need gas get it there

Disappointing experience with grocery pickup. I understand things happen and I'm not quick to complain. I've had several grocery orders with broken eggs and expired milk from Hyvee in macomb. The tipping point is when I purchased a cut of meat for 18 dollars and it had the recommended date of use as the same day I picked up order. Not knowing this right away I Assumed it was fresh and placed it in the fridge to use later in the week. Then to find out it smelled bad upon opening. My husband called hyvee to mention this incident, the manager said he was busy and would call to discuss which never happened...

Absolutely the worst grocery store I've shopped at. Being stuck in the middle of nowhere there's a few options for grocery shopping. Make sure to check the expiration dates on everything you purchase. I have bought items without checking and a day or two later they're expired. Most other grocery stores reduce the prices on items that are expire within a few day yet this place just keeps it on the shelf and doesn't reduce the price. Dont waste your time or money; Aldis and Wal-Mart are a better options.

When I walk in the door of this Hy-Vee I immediately have a feeling of being welcomed. I can honestly say I have never been in a store where the employees are so friendly and helpful. Every single employee is polite and friendly almost like they know you on a personal basis. The store is extremely clean and inviting, everything is arranged in a way where it is easy to find. If you do have trouble finding something, one of their wonderful employees will walk you right to the item. I would never think of getting my groceries anywhere else. Every time I go in the store I am more impressed.
