As soon as you walk in the door, you're met with the hustle and bustle of a small space on a very busy night. The bar staff are very friendly.I ordered a Hangover Burger to-go. I was told 10-20 minute wait time, so I arrived at about 15 minutes. The estimate was accurate, as my food came out 5 minutes later.Ten minutes later I got home to eat and was very excited as this was my first time here.The burger was as good as burgers usually are. The slight pink in the middle told me it was made from fresh ground beef as opposed to frozen. That's a rare commodity in the bar scene out here. The buns were fluffy. The cheese was melted. My only beef was that the sauce, which is a pepper cream sauce, was really mild. The bacon was chewy, which isn't necessarily wrong, I just like it crispy.Overall a good experience. I wouldn't say no to coming back. 3/5.P.S. They have those battered and seasoned fries that are the gold standard in bar fries.

My husband & friends came for dinner & drinks Saturday night after my friend Nicole said she's been hearing great things about Matties. The waitress we had was very friendly, polite & went above & beyond her normal duties. My husband loves pork rinds & they serve you fresh pork rinds as an appetizer & my husband asked if we can take a bag home & our waitress made sure we had a freshly made to go box full of them. My husband & I split the 16 oz Ribeye which comes with green beans & mashed potatoes and omg everything was delicious & cooked to perfection. We definitely will be back & will highly recommend Matties to anybody looking for good food & drinks.

It was late. I was staved and thirsty. I left satisfied with intentions of going back. The loaded fries was excellent, the beer was cold, and the hospitality was warm and friendly.
We've been there several times for the wings. Bone-in and they're nice and large. They put a little too much sauce on them. Other than that they was pretty much perfect.

1st time visit. We finally made it . Service was great and the food was very very good. The large Ribeye was very good. It started getting very busy when we was done eating. Glad we had reservations. Reservations definitely recommended on Friday, Saturday.

I ordered the ribeye that came with green beans, mash potatoes, sweet rolls, with a side of shrimp. I took my food back twice... shrimp was supposed to be grilled and was ice cold. Ribeye was blue (supposed to be medium rare/medium).. and the shrimp were swelled up and had the texture of leather... the waitress was great tho... filled my glass at least a dozen times in the two hour wait for our food to show up. The free pork rinds were a plus at least.

So it has happened before where the owner matt couldn't keep enough staff inside for the customers he was bringing in, it has now after tonight happend on 3 occasions where we have waited over and hour and a half on food and tonight being 2 hours and when the food finally got to us after tables that came in 30 minutesafter us got their food, ours was burn to a crisp. Again being that this has happened to us more than once and more than twice now I'm here to say we are very disappointed in the service matt is giving his customers. We loved matties when we first came to town and raved about it to everyone we knew but it has fallen apart as far as the kitchen goes. So sad to see. Hope things turn around again because when the food and service are good it's a nice place to go.
