HORRIBLE!The waitress was grumpy. The drinks were the worst I've tried. The food took over 30 minutes to make steak and eggs. Not

Our server Aliya was very accommodating and helpful throughout our Easter brunch! Will be coming back and requesting her section! Food was good and the atmosphere was great! Hope to come back and sit on the rooftop bar during patio season.

My recent brunch experience at this restaurant was unfortunately not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Despite the promising ambiance, my visit was marred by a few notable issues. Firstly, our waitress, Aliya, seemed disinterested and provided minimal assistance throughout our meal. It was disappointing to receive such lackluster service. Additionally, the food took an excruciatingly long time to arrive, well over 40 minutes. Surprisingly, the restaurant was nearly empty. This delay was quite perplexing and put a damper on our dining experience. Furthermore, while the presentation of the dishes was aesthetically pleasing, the taste left much to be desired. The food was nothing special and felt overpriced for the quality offered. Similarly, the drinks were underwhelming and failed to impress. Despite the restaurant's visually appealing decor, it's evident that there is room for improvement in both the food quality and service. I hope the establishment takes steps to prioritize enhancing their food and service to match the charm of their decor.

The food was delicious, We had a wonderful server and the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's nice to have linens on the table with a fancy menu with an array of dinner choices as well as beverages and desserts.

Caramelized onion mashed potatoes were outstanding, as was the bread. Grilled shrimp was delicious. Scampi shrimp were watery with very little butter and little to no garlic, not recommended. Service was great and so was the atmosphere.

I just went to Chop House on Main for my birthday dinner. I had read the reviews, and most were very good. However, restaurant reviews more so than others, tend to be extremely subjective. I am rather picky when it comes to restaurant selections, but the emergence of a relatively new local restaurant peaked my interest. Entering the Chop House, we were immediately impressed by the ambience. So many new restaurants, for some unknown reason, like to mimic the bright white lighting found in big box stores, not warm and not comfortable. We found Chop House on Main cozy, welcoming, and warmly lit. The restaurant is also perfectly decorated, reminiscent of an earlier era with exposed brick and classic wood trim. We started the night with Cosmopolitans which were well balanced. Not too sweet and just the right amount of strong. As for the food, the onion ring appetizer was outstanding. We loved the homemade breading and the horseradish sauce. My salad with blue cheese dressing was also perfect. The dressing did not taste mass produced and was right on. The salmon my date ordered was one of the best, if not the best I’ve had at a restaurant. For myself, I ordered the ribeye, something I rarely do since that cut of beef is fatty by design in order to attain the incredible flavor for which it is known. I usually don’t order it because it often turns out to have too much fat and more gristle than is acceptable. This night however, I threw caution to the wind! The result… I was pleasantly surprised! it was delicious and filling! The final verdict? A great meal, great atmosphere, and great service! We will definitely be back! We are looking forward to trying other items on the menu and hanging out on the second floor which looks to be a great place to catch an Illini game! Job Well done, Chop House on Main!

Chophouse is a nice small restaurant located in Mahomet. I came in with a group on a Saturday night, so we knew it would be busy. Our waitress had forgotten our food and also mistaken some of our orders. No one really came in to check in on us. Food was very average. Nothing special.Overall, the food isn't worth the price.

Have been several times. Bartenders and servers are very friendly and helpful. Unexpected but cool atmosphere for the small town. Steak, shrimp, and crab cakes all good. Salads are fresh with quality ingredients. Drink selection and pours are tasty and healthy. Highly recommend!

I could overlook the perfunctory service if the meal had been good. It was not. I ordered a MR ribeye (generally a very soft and juicy cut) and received a Medium steak that was tough. The salad tasted like grass, The loaded potato had no flavor at all. I ordered a Pinot Noir (decidedly a light red) and even it seemed watered down. My friend got the French onion soup, and it was lukewarm. His burger was mealy and tasteless. Not recommended: do not waste your gasoline or time traveling out to this venue for lunch.

This place is the best option in mahomet to eat in at. Couldn't honestly get anything better than chophouse. The food is amazingly prepared. I guarantee because of the quality of food, these chef's are the smartest in all of mahomet. Compared to the other restaurant chef's they have nothing on chophouse. You just can't compete with chophouse's chef's
