We were excited for bbq but found the food to be mediocre. We got the feast featuring all the meats. Overall, the food lacked flavor. The cornbread was ok and the coleslaw was also flavorless. The Brisket was melt in your mouth however, it didn't even have a smoky flavor. This is a one and done spot for us.

Came to watch the Saturday Illinois afternoon BB game. One person taking care of the whole restaurant. She was very nice. Heard her say sorry to many tables. We got an appetizer and orded meals to go. She forgot and said OH YEAH it's in a bag. Ruben was cut wrong and had lots of fat on it, and hard to eat. Haven't been here for a few years. Menu has not changed.

The brisket sandwich is the single greatest one I've ever eaten. I had a taste of the mac and cheese dog and it was excellent. Their hottest bbq is sweet with a kick of heat. The fries and coleslaw were top notch. Wish they had one closer to home.
