What happened to the food at this place? The fries used to be homemade and amazing! Now the fries are out of a freezer bag. The buttermilk brined chicken sandwich used to be delicious, and now it’s nothing. Seems like they don’t care about their food anymore. I wouldn’t go for the food, nice drink selection though.

There is a wonderful Wisconsin type bar in Maple Park Illinois that has some of THE BEST FOOD around. WHEN we walked into LODI TAP HOUSE I instantly felt at home. I just love Wisconsin type bars and this one fits it so well with a BEER MUG CLUB WALL filled with mugs of all sorts, wood everywhere in a home style setting which made me sooo happy. We were instantly welcomed by Brittany the bar tender who told us to sit anywhere we wanted to. BRITTANY was amazing, there were several people there and she pleased everyone with her quick service, her wonderful personality and her great knowledge of the menu as the people who came in. Brittany knew her customers and catered to them accordingly. Brittany did it all up front with a smile on her face and a great laugh. We first ordered the HOMEMADE BEER BATTERED CHEESE CURDS and they were better than the ones in Wisconsin. They had a great tasting sauce with it and we asked for another one of these sauces for the burgers we ordered. WE then ordered their homemade beef soup and it was great... Lots of beef and veggie that were perfect for this soup. THEN came their burgers and WE JUST love them... I had a Tap house SMASH CHEESE BURGER double and hubby had a Blue Cheesy burger double, BOTH were incredible with flavor LOAD that exceeded my expectations. The Cheesy smash burger was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside just the way I love it. It had lots of Velveeta on it and it was wonderful with that sauce I put on is from the Cheese curds. Hubby's Blue Cheesy burger the same with lots of Blue Cheese and grilled onions on it. Both of us ordered the Fried Potato salad instead of the fries and it was wonderful. Fried potatoes chopped up nicely with and interesting cheese sauce, bacon and green onions. Everything about THE LODI TAP HOUSE MAPLE PARK is great and I cannot wait to go there again and soon. Cannot wait to see our new friend Brittany who was one of the best front restaurant worker I have ever seen. I left with a big smile on my face.

After big day of apple ? picking from Kuipers, The Lodi Tap House was the location we drove to have lunch with the fam.As soon as you walk in you can see the cool bottles that are used as lampshades hanging from the ceiling. There are unique and personalized mugs displayed all over the walls.I ordered the buttermilk brined chicken sandwich with fries. I chose to get the chicken grilled that was topped with their home made pickle slaw. It was delicious ? crunchy and gave a nice zest. I really enjoyed their sweet honey siracha sauce. That is what ? enticed me to order their sandwich in the first place.I had one cheese curd while it was freshly made by the cook and oh man! Blown away on how delicious they were. As soon as I bit into it the cheese stretched out from my cheesy ball. The green onion was perfectly garnished and their thick sauce to dip the cheesy balls. Oh wow ?. I have to come back just for those cheese balls.The Reuben was also scrumptious and their marble rye bread was thick but soft. The fresh corned beef was roasted in their craft beer with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. I ate the other half cold and it was still delicious! ? ??We had a big party and the waitress was very attentive. I appreciate her being able to serve everyone despite her running the floor and bar on her own for a Sunday afternoon. Big kudos on her and the chef ????. Thank you so much for the wonderful ?️ meal.
Definitely enjoyed my burger and the fried potato salad! The server was swamped since she was the only one there, but did a great job trying to juggle a large party and a full dining room.

The cheese curds were amazing, the burgers were good, the service was terrible and bizarre. It took 15 mins to get our water, when the server finally brought them over she was carrying them against her body... and then she was almost throwing the cups on the table. Not sure if they were swamped and overwhelmed but it felt rude.There were 8 of us, and 4 people got their food while the other 4 waited another 15 mins (we all ordered burgers).I requested a fork for my cheese curds and I was told they didn't have any - they were all being washed... So I ended up eating them with my hands... I've never had that happen to me before at a restaurant. What if I had ordered a salad? Would I have been expected to eat my salad with my hands too?Lastly, they do not bring you a check - they just show you the screen (on the POS) with the total and the tip, and they just wait there, holding the POS in your face, while you tip. No summary of the items that you ordered is visible. What if the check was incorrect? If it perhaps included an item that another person from your party ordered (not unheard of).Also, the tip options are 20, 25, and 30%, and custom... Very presumptuous and ambitious considering the kind of service we got.Overall I can't recommend this place.

After entering and receiving no greeting or direction as to wait to be seated or grab a seat. After waiting with no recognition we left stood outside and decided to try again.Fortunately this time, other customers waiting to be seated pointed out two seats by the window. After waiting too long for our server to ask if we needed anything, we ordered a couple drinks and asked for a menu. After waiting over 20 minutes we were told they ran out of cheese curds. Lodi has daily specials and Sunday is Signature burgers are buy one and get the other 50% off. We ordered two burger of the month listed with the Signature Burgers list.When we received our bill, the second burger was not discounted. When I asked our server about the special printed on the menu, she did not know anything about the special and went to speak to someone about it.For whatever reason, the burger of the month listed under specialty burgers is not included.In my opinion the special burger should not be listed with the specialty burgers if not included, or have a * that states it is not included.I'm hoping this feedback helps

They were absolutely the BEST WINGS we have had in YEARS. AND IM A WING connoisseur! The draft was "MORE LA push Baby" great recommendations by the bartender, Brittany and Cody makes the best food. DEFINITELY stop by Lodi Tap House!!! . AND THE CHEESE CURDS from Gavin WERE PERFECTION!!!!

My friends and I have visited the North Utica location, so we knew this place had potential! Had late lunch here on a Sunday afternoon, and were not disappointed! Excellent beer and adult beverages. Food was served fresh, hot, and delicious. Wait staff was friendly and attentive! My only nitpick issue was limited washrooms - one for the entire restaurant. If you need to use the washroom urgently, you may have to wait in line. Overall, decor was great, and the menu has upscale pub grub to suit a wide assortment of tastes. Will definitely visit again!

Lodi Tap House is a really great bar with really good food and great service. Ask for the blueberry cheese cake meade after your meal. You won't regret it.

Food is good. French fries are very tasty and the sandwiches come with a good helping. The beer selection is great, but very expensive and most pours are 10oz - this is the most confusing part of this place! (Who has ever had a 10oz Hefeweizen or IPA; charge 50cent more and give your customers a break!)
