“I go here regularly and the staff is great. I use the drive-through mostly but dine in sometimes. Everyone taking the order, accepting payment, and giving me my meal are all super friendly. The fries are always hot and fresh, and the fountain drinks have the right soda to syrup mix.“

“The drive thru window person was not very clear, did not give directions as to what to do. I ordered online, but I wasn't told to drive up to the window, Then I was missing one of my cinnamon twists, and the window person handed me the bag of food and shut the window. No thanks for stopping or that's all. Nothing, so I was very confused by this person. I have never had an experience like this before. I'm not stupid, but usually you get told please pull up and thank you for stopping.“
“I am absolutely AMAZED with the service I received! The staff was so friendly! They all came up to greet me and talked to me like I was a part of the family. The manager was so accommodating to my dietary requests. Usually, at other places, I am met with an eye roll and a sigh. NOT HERE! She listened to my concerns and responded with such tenderness! Every one of them deserves a raise! I will be driving way out of my way to only come to this location from now on! The 2 young ladies working were personable yet professional & the place was really clean. When I come through town again, I'll stop here without hesitation.“
“I always joke and say when I’m executed Popeyes will be my last meal. Well, if it comes true I want this location to prepare it. I’ve tried Popeyes all over the country and this one so far has been the best. Yea, it’s in a truck stop, but I’ve eaten Popeyes in the hood too. The manager here deserves a raise. Thanks guys!“
“Expectation level: It's a truck stop. The US 20 exit is the only stop between the city of Belvidere and Elgin (Randall Rd). Therefore its a frequent stop Pros: -This is one of the last stops before the burbs that the costs will be relatively low when compared to Cook County. Price per gallon can be anywhere between a 25 to 75 cent price difference -Convenient Subway inside, or McDonalds next door. Its strong in location and convenience access. 2 ATM's inside -Despite a lot of the negative posts about the rest rooms, they were vastly improved in mid 2017. Previous reviews were correct in nastiness in the past. I stop here for the restrooms a lot during my travels to and from Chicago and I find it comfortable Cons: -Is this place any better than most modern gas stations? Probably not. -Paid air compressor. I hate it when gas stations charge a buck for 3 minutes of air Bottom Line: -I can't speak for the truckers, but as a car commuter there isn't anything about this place that will "prevent" me from coming here on a westbound I-90 commute. If you want don't to stop here, no worries. Pick another gas station down the street or wait 17ish miles until the next exit :)“
“Today was my first time visiting this location, out of the 7 years that I've been driving trucks. I was greeted and served by Miguel! He had such a lovely presence about him. He took my order and got it to me right away! Even though I don't eat fast food much anymore. I'm glad that I decided to pull off and go in. He must've sensed that I needed to encounter such a warm spirit this morning. Miguel just turned my whole morning around ? ????! It's the little encounters of our fellow human beings seeing each others humanity! That could change the perspective we have. Please keep employees like him around. This was probably the best experience I've had in a long time at a fast food joint.“
“I love this small mom and Pop restaurant/ice cream shop. Food can be a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. When I get an order that is wrong they always take the steps needed to correct it which was not always the case so that’s a nice change. It’s definitely my number one go to in Marengo.“
