Thought this would be a classic old Italian restaurant, but alas, they opt to cut some corners to save, and the quality of the food is not as expected, being the oldest running restaurant in Marion. My Italian beef was not that great, the bread was tough to eat, and the sandwich in no way represented true Chicago style Italian beef. Restaurants are about SO MUCH MORE THAN FOOD.I was visiting the area, duck hunting, and met the owner of Bennie's.He let us know about his restaurant as we had a few drinks wrapping up the hunt.Our group decided to stop over at the restaurant, and we had a fantastic experience, all of the people were great, service was great, the food was great. First time to Bennies. Good food, good service and nice atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking in rear parking lot. Do have to go to front of building for Accessible entrance
