I remember when Jimmy John’s used to be fast. Now for some reason, this location has become one of the slowest fast food restaurants in town. Every time I use the drive thru it takes forever for someone to even communicate over the speaker.I understand the ongoing issue of being understaffed in this industry, but there is just an obvious lack of structure there right now.

11/20/2023. Order # 22700161964998656I ordered my sandwich on app at around 12:10pm. Hurried out on my 30min lunch break. Waited online at JJ in marion IL for 10min...pulled around to the front and went in to get my sandwich. There were 5 employees working and.my sandwi h still hadn't been made.yet. I ordered almost 30min ago at that time. Frustrated and no time to left, as I had used up my 30min lunch waiting for my lunch. I asked to have my order cancelled and they said they would, but too busy to help.me at that time. One girl said they had 3 people quit and she is overwhelmed. I left and called the Marion IL store and asked over the phone for my order to be canceled. Young kid said they could not help me and for.me to.call back around 3 or 4pm. 5:30 on a Saturday with no one else in the restaurant but me and the 3 people behind the counter. One drive up order in that time. (Setting context) 3-4 bags of trash which should've been taken care of were in the entryway LEANING on shelved chips that were for sale. One of the people behind the counter should have taken care of that. Absolutely repulsive. Will not return.
