“The first time I came into this location I sat at a booth with my kindle watching the game. The waitress brought me my meal, drink, and later the check -in which the refill I ordered, and waiting for, was on it - yet, the waitress did not bring me the refill nor return to the area I sat (near entry corner). I guessed the waitress got busy or forgot so I did not include tip as I did not get 2nd drink. I almost left a bad review at that time.However, I really enjoy the salads at Applebee's so decided next time I would start sitting closer to kitchen and bar area to read my kindle and watch game.On next visit, I confronted the prior waitress about prior visit, and the waitress stated she brought me my drink but while I was in restroom someone must have took it. I apologized for not leaving a tip, was offered a replacement drink by that days' waitress ( Brittney), and ever since, have chosen this place to eat when visiting the area.In retrospect, I am glad these waitresses looked out for me, and my drink, while I went to restroom and did not cause stir in the moment. I have since ate at this location many times and have watched the staff work really hard, to point it gives me anxiety watching them trying to please everyone while remaining neutral in matters that is not their responsibility ( such as food not cooked right- or putting bread or something on a plate despite informing them not to).I'm glad I returned and got to know a few of the staff. It really is a lottery on if the experience goes good at this location but the odds are higher when Brittney or Christine are working.Dietary restrictions: I am gf and enjoy the strawberry salad (no bread) and alternate meat choice of chicken, salmon, shrimp, or steak“
“I just have to say thank you to Dan, Chris, Ryan and the whole crew. We ordered wings and wedges to feed the whole football team tonight. Not only was the order hot and ready tonight-they carried it all out to my car. And of course the boys loved their meal. Thank you all!“
“Perfect place for a date night. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was easily the best I have ever had. The onion rings tasted like good fair food.This is a great place for those who want to eat, play some pool, and grab some drinks.The posted hours did show Sunday as closed, but the light up "Open" sign was on and the staff assured us they were open.“

“This is a package store and sports bar. Its been too long since I been in a dry county so Im not going to be a lot of help explaining. My understanding is in this county if u want beer wine or liquor you have to come to one of these spots or a bar. Difference with this spot is that its a bar too so u can get ur beer wine liquor for here or to go. No problem getting a single or 2 from a 6 pack. What?! $3 for good ipa? What?!. Hotel gave a token. First beer on them. Yes! Forgot very quickly about that 13 hour drive fatigue. Almost.. Friendly bartenders. They got slot machines to gamble on, pool tables to play on and friendly local folks to chop it up with. Cheap drinks are a plus and decent DJ on Saturday night. Minus 1 star because as the other reviewer said the wine looks like its been there a long time lol. A very long time. Come get a couple beers if you stop thru Marion, IL. They will treat you good“
