“Amazing staff with great attitudes & attentiveness was on point. It was my birthday & even though we were the only party the staff were genuinely excited about our little celebration. They mentioned new additions to the menu so I happily tried one: beef hot pot. 5 stars on the broth for starters bc I could drink that juice for breakfast if it were possible!All the ingredients were on point except the potatoes could've been cut just a little thinner so they could be fully cooked through. 4.9 stars though, only mentioning the potato fix bc staff were clear about wanting honest feedback to better fuel any needed improvement. I'm happy to oblige as I see a lot of potential here (a rare compliment these days).Commendable and impressed are just a couple of words that come to mind when recalling my lovely first night at Chop Kitchen. I'll admit I had pretty much already resolved to a basic birthday family meal before the night even began but, to my surprise, we returned home with bright spirits & even brighter smiles (n2m full stomachs). “Nothing major to say. Food was decent. Sushi wasn't amazing, but still decent. The seaweed wrap was tough in the salmon roll. The avocado was very ripe/brown. The server got one of our rolls wrong, but didn't think it was worth much to complain, as the roll we did get was alright.Wouldn't be against going back.“
