I traveled to Decatur from Bloomington to do an estimate and consult with WAND TV on a floor care project. When returning to Bloomington, I stopped in Maroa, Illinois to have a late breakfast. It was lunchtime and the server (I didn’t catch her name) said, “ we’ll cook you breakfast.” When traveling I attempt to hunt down small town cafes and diners with fresh food and home town hospitality. The quaint little town of Maroa doesn't have much but this is the go-to family diner for many. They are no michelin star restaurant but their waitresses work very hard and their service is impeccable. If you're looking for a hot breakfast or a classic finger food lunch this is your place.
