Yea NO! Very displeased. I love smoothies and wanted a quick pick me up. I googled smoothies near me. Came to try this establishment and NEVER AGAIN! The “smoothie” wasn’t a smoothie! It was melted ice with banana flavor. Literally milk melted ice and juice. Just gross. Spent too much on something that wasn’t worth the try. I still regret ever spending money here! The doorbell is overrated and the cashier is just that! The cashier. Want a real smoothie? Stick to smoothie king maybe even tropical smoothie cafe! But THIS PLACE… (yeaNO)

It was my first time in. I wanted a smoothie so I googled locations near my destination. This one popped up. It's sort of weird to get to, but I was cool with trying something new. I really wanted a smoothie. When I arrive I attempted to enter the establishment, but the door was locked. I checked the posted hours to see if I'd arrived at closing time (2:15 pm). Nope. Just locked.There was a doorbell which was off putting with this being supposedly a public smoothie shop. Maybe the neighborhood inspired the action. Not sure. I ring the bell and was let in by a person who really seemed as though I was inconveniencing them. There was minimal conversation even though I was open and friendly.I know I'm exaggerating, but the menu was so huge and not user friendly, that selecting a drink was a daunting task indeed. It was only after I "troubled" the seemingly annoyed barista that I learned the space catered primarily to powder based protein beverages. Nonplussed, I anxiously picked something and went to pay. The barista sent me through two computers to process my order.I am not a fan of marketing emails, so I was a little annoyed when I was told to enter a lot of information, but never asked if I wanted to receive such follow up. $22 and roughly 15 minutes later I had a protein shake (they don't sell smoothies) and an acai bowl (seems more like a shake in a bowl with fruit). I was thanked at least for my business before I pushed back out the locked door and went on my way.Not sure if I'll return. I will concede that maybe it was just an off day, but as a consumer/patron I was not floored by the customer service experience or menu.

I ordered the banana cream my first visit and I added prebiotic. It was sooooooo good! I will definitely be back!

The store is very cozy and welcoming. The service is high quality. Coach CJ is a lovely lady. I love the encouraging remarks that are written on our “to-go” cups. I just lost my Baby cousin. Coach CJ will never know how her small gesture of hand written encouragement on the cups brought sunshine to a rainy moment for me. I definitely recommend.

As an athlete, I was really disappointed to find out they had no real fresh vegetables or fruits. The mango pineapple smoothie had syrup for the mango and one strawberry which seemed to be in dried form. I asked for kale or spinach and was laughed at, however she was VERY friendly. No chia or flax seeds which was understandable. I had to throw it away. I didn’t want to offend the young lady after I saw what the ingredients actually were. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment and the kind notes on the cups.

Just legendary and a vibe for me I don’t know about everybody else but I like matteson nutrition atmosphere is just right and it’s perfect they definitely the most underrated healthy place that’s coming up especially with the DJ that plays the music got different genres and everything it may not be for everybody but I like it personally remember one time I was there it was about 78 customers at the parking lot. Love matteson nutrition
