Everyone was so nice & incredibly kind! My pregnant self was craving soft serve swirl ice cream! It was amazing!! My daughter chose the watermelon ice, and she loved it!! My husband said his ice cream sandwich was awesome! 10/10 recommend!!

So glad to see Rita's is back open for the season! The place is perfectly located - cute as can be - has some seating inside and out (not a lot) and the friendliest staff that are so helpful in giving you tastes and ideas of all the combos available!!! I had mango italian ice with vanilla soft serve custard and WOW! Yummo! give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

We love Rita's it's a great treat especially since we have a families who want a sweet treat but don't always want ice cream. Although they do have custard for gelati. Love the flavors, the staff and service and the options! Great location easy to access and find parking. Great value also!

We used to live in Philly. This took us right back. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and really went out of their way to serve my daughter with allergies. We felt so welcomed and had a great experience. The super cherry flavor was amazing - but I forget the name.

From the first bite, I was hooked. Rita's McHenry is a cut above the rest. The flavors are a true delight, with the coconut cream standing out as a sheer masterpiece. What truly sets this shop apart is the phenomenal staff. Their warmth is what elevates each visit. Easily has become one of my favorite places in McHenry.

Absolutely love Rita’s when we’re on the east coast and we were super stoked to see one pop up in McHenry. But the portion sizes were a little ridiculous. Everywhere else a custard is full but here it’s pretty stingy. Even when we asked for a little more cause it was a Large the girls rolled their eyes and tried again. The entire cone was empty and the custard was like a hollow shell above. And the gelati had the tiniest little dollop of custard on top. Hoping for a little more consistency in the future to make it worth the cost.

My first time trying Rita's and I was told they opened a new store in Mchenry and decided to stop by since I was in the area and it didn't disappoint. They had alot of flavors. I got the gelati with mango and vanilla custard. It was so delicious. I haven't had this combination before and it was so good. I'm going to have to come back and try other flavors.
