Cuban sandwich & café cubano, delicious. Didn't like the background Mexican music. It is a Puerto Rican/Cuban food restaurant. Should have had tropical music instead of banda... Heard the front counter lady saying Coquito is a Latin American drink... ¡Disculpe! It is a Puerto Rican Christmas drink. If you're not a Caribbean but work in this type of restaurant, you should know your product.

Very bad customer service due to staff having attitude for no reason. Don’t expect to feel comfortable while dining in

Everything I’ve tried from this restaurant is DELICIOUS! The cafe con leche is the best. You must try the beef empanadas and breakfast omelets.??

Horrible customer service I am Mexican and wanted to try something new and everyone kept staring at me it was very uncomfortable and they lacked any human emotion. This place sucks and nothing was good dont waste your time

0 stars. Lady with big glasses behind register had attitude since I walked in. Jibarito is unseasoned & has lots of fat.

Prices are subject to change so basically you can come here an order a cheeseburger plain that comes with fries and pop an it’s $15.00 but the website list it as 10.75 on the menu an Google list it as 7.99 the owner doesn’t care she go add tax an some to your order. They taxing for no reason. It’s ridiculous.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant because I love empanadas and Cuban sandwiches. I guess it was a major red flag that the first few times I attempted to eat here they were closed by 12, not even 2 like they advertise. So we order some empanadas, avocado toast, and a Cuban sandwich and a lechon sandwich . It was $40. The empanadas were ok I guess. The avocado toast had absolutely NO FLAVOR. How do you not even put salt or pepper on it? Just 5 random chili flakes on top of a ton of avocado???the rice with the sandwiches again had absolutely NO FLAVOR. So bland, it smelled ok but yeah no taste. The Cuban sandwich was laughable. It’s a $15 sandwich with barley any meat in it? How did my $6 lechon sandwich have more meat than the $15 Cuban? I would never recommend this establishment and I don’t ever plan on returning. Save your money

First time I've tried this hidden yummy restaurant. A friend took me there and I was pleasantly surprised. Chilaquiles and coquito were delicious!! Very nice owners and they make you feel like a family.

We found this lovely place for Puerto Rican delicacies and we were not disappointed it was a gastronomical delight, nothing was greasy it was amazing from entering the café we were greeted with warmth and the cafe was clean and inviting. Parking was in itself an adventure so becareful. But you won't regret coming here. It's in Melrose Park a busy intersection but good food prices were good too. We shall return.

My go to place whenever i get the chance to eat lunch in between visiting patients. I always go for the jibarrito which is really good. This time i saw their sign that they have "Bahn Mi" sandwich. It's actually a Vietnamese sandwich offered in a latino restaurant? Really? So i did try and indeed! The owner's daughter was right! It is really good! Cook to perfection! I love it!
