PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHECKS. When we received our check, one item was higher than what was listed on the menu. We assumed it was an honest mistake. After speaking with the waitress-manager then owner, we were told items are ALL subject to change at any moment. In fact, the owner informed us that it is too costly for him to reprint new menus that reflect increased prices. Instead, he adds a clause in the menu that states: all items are subject to change. Of course this means all items are "market value." We offered the suggestion of at least having the waitress notify the customer of the prices change when they are ordering as apposed to changing prices when the check arrives. He did offer to buy us cocktails which would more than compensated the dollar value. However, for us, the policy just wasn't honest which leaves a bad taste and encourages people like myself to feel obligated to warn others to check their checks. I do hope they rethink "their policy." It's too bad because we used to be a fan of the place and didn't mind driving 35 minutes to dine. (used to)

It was appalling to watch the owner verbally rate an older woman who questioned why the price on the menu was lower than the price she was charged. He actually raised his voice to the point that we could hear him across the restaurant say to her are you really arguing with me about a dollar? And then opened his wallet and threw a dollar at her and told her he didn't need her business. My friends and I will definitely take our business elsewhere. Who treats a customer like that for asking very nicely why they were charged a higher price that will stated on the menu. How unethical and rude.

If I can give it a 20 star I would, the food, the service and the atmosphere was amazing and Spectacular! I will definitely come back here again! We got the lamb chops and one item specials which was the Ribeye with mashed potatoes and god it was definitely delicious I wish I didn’t get so full so fast. We got calamari as an app and that was very good and tasty as well. For desert we finished off with homemade tiramisu and the chef treated us with some homemade cannoli. I was truly amazed with the service we got, definitely worth all the money. This place is very nice and everyone is friendly and amazing makes you want to go back!

We visited Taverna on Division on Saturday, November 25th as a last minute decision and a chance cancellation of a reservation. When people say things happen for a reason they were correct. Walking into Taverna on Division was like walking into a scene of the "Good Fellas", Everyone knew everyone else, someone put a drink into hands and told us to toast the tree lighting ceremony. The live music by Tony Ocean was amazing. We were seated next to the stage and our waitress appeared right away for our drink Oder. I ordered a manhattan (perfectly made) my wife ordered a spritzer (also well made) and our friends ordered a bottle of wine. Our appetizers were fired calamari, baked clams. Both cooked perfectly and delicious. Our main entrées were, linguine with seafood in red sauce, and a linguine with seafood in white sauce, chicken Parmesan and chicken Vesuvio. All the dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared. We arrived at 6:30 PM and left at 12 midnight! We enjoyed ourselves so much we already made reservations for December 16th.
