Beggars is a Chicago staple and yes they really do lay it on thick. It's arguably my favorite pizza on the Southside of Chicago. Can't go wrong with Chicago-style thin crust or deep dish.

Here’s a review for you, how about I’m never coming here again. For starters, the prices are a little high. Next up, in terms of this location it’s a little small and feels cramped, especially waiting for a to go order. Lastly, not one person in here wearing gloves. At least act like y’all care! I should become a health inspector and simultaneously open my own restaurant. The guy cutting my pizza had no gloves too and got the nerve to lift my pizza with his bare hands to get a good cut. Turned around and served me the pizza like I didn’t see. Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants don’t care anymore and I was desperate. I didn’t eat the whole thing, but I’m truly horrified by the experience enough to document. No need to put hands in the food, literally for no reason. Some places have it a lot worse, but come on y’all it should not be the standard! My complaints are valid I don’t care what no one thinks.

I placed an order for a family sausage and Cheese Pizza, 6 mozzarella sticks and 6 Wings. I knew the wait would be 25 minutes so I went into Jewel to shop. I scheduled pick up for 2:45. At approximately 2:53 I made it to Beggars and got to the counter and the young man behind the counter told me, ma'am I'm sorry but your pizza is burnt. Do you still want it? Unbelievable! BURNT! I said, what do you think? This Beggars has gone down in customer service and quality. seriously, I order from this location quite a but this is my last order from here the Merrionette Park location. Food was made well as it always has been. I’m upset because I was denied a veterans discount on Veterans Day. Two deployments and over ten years of service… I’m not begging (pun intended), but does Beggars support veterans or not?

Thursday Evenings after 6pm should always be date night here. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Of course, the server was dedicated to us, lol. Food delicious Fresh and hot. They have tv screens for your viewing pleasure and plenty of slot machines ?Kid-friendliness: High chairs and at parents request change their view to cartoons.Parking: restaurant located in astrip mall. also parking in the rear

Waited 40 minutes for a burnt pizza then i was told i could wait another 30 minutes for another one....i want to know why the cook would sell something that burnt and over cooked...i guess they didn't think i was going to look at it at the counter....

Horrible management. Manager yelled at multiple employees while I was dining in. She called one of the employees incompetent because she accidentally messed up. She also had 2 children running around, getting angry at them and put them in the kitchen. Didn't know the kitchen was a safe place to put kids. The whole restaurant was just a bad experience, also smelt bad.

This locations new process of pre-wrapped single slices. I am not a fan of. The pizza was cold, tasted as if it was freezer, burn and day-old. The staff was nice enough to explain why they do that and I understand the rationale. Pizza was awful I want my money back, please go back to the old ways of pizza in the glass case spinning Under the light. Pizza was thin was supposed to be deep dish
