Traveling from Chicago and looking for a quintessential small town dive bar, we were delighted to discover The Last Stop. Want an otherworldly expediency outside of the urban concrete jungles? If you are passing through the area, check out this place and consider staying at the hotel or an BnB, you'll not want to be driving when you leave.
My girlfriend and I went looking for a local place to have drinks at. We stumbled upon "The Last Stop" based on the reviews. We could not have been any more pleased to be there. Such a good and welcoming owner. We wish we could a have a bar like this where we live. Thank you Mike, we will definitely be seeing you again!

Ok, i didnt actually have the food BUT this place is cool. Great atmosphere and jukebox, the owner is a big Cubs fan and how can you like baseball and not like the Cubs? And i spoke to a man there who had the most interesting dichotomy of jobs ever…like polar opposite jobs. Prison guard/maintenance and he also raises and sells goats.
