This is a great local watering hole. The drinks are the cheapest in town and there are daily specials. There is a video gaming room and a rental hall that is perfect for parties and special events. Come for a drink or stay for a football game.
VFW post + Lent = Friday fish fry. I had the pleasure of going to a Friday fish fry at this VFW post. There was both fried and broiled fish, chicken, shrimp (extra charge), baked beans, corn, french fires, mac and cheese and coleslaw. Plus there was a selection of home made cakes. And its 9 bucks. We now measure time and progress in terms of Moore's law. However, the fish fry for me was a trip back to simpler times: salt of the earth people and our American traditions.
