We just moved to the area and have already eaten here twice! The chips and salsa are incredible, and that's just the starter. I have tried several different tacos and will soon return to work my way through the menu.

This place is AMAZING! Always a go-to. Small business, and food is definitely worth the price. Any ordinary taco place would be the same price. The "bird boy" and "Korean bbq" tacos are me and my boyfriends favorites! Servers are always amazing. Food comes out so quick.

Where to start? ZAP Taco is a hole in the wall Taco shop with AMAZING tacos! Some of the best salsa that can be found and a decent bar. The tacos are unique and while I've tried just about all the tacos on the menu, I've never had one that wasn't delicious. The wait staff is attentive without hovering. She sure to try any specials they have. We went around St Patrick's day and they had a Reuben taco. It was incredible! All in all great food, good prices, and excellent service. It is a small shop, so be sure to get there early.

I'll start by saying the tacos we ordered were delicious! Love the fresh ingredients and the unique flavors! The Margaritas leave a bit to be desired. I ordered their regular Margarita on ice with salt and they brought a small glass, no salt, and I'm pretty sure...no booze. I'd say if I were to order again I would have to ask for a double to get anything in it. Service was pretty sub par and slow too, but it was a little busy and they may just have been understaffed for the evening. Will go back and give it another try to see if they were just having an 'off' night.

Zap! You are now broke. In all truth the food was good. The beans and rice were a little different. I thought they were good. Hubby not so much. We ordered two fish tacos, 3 beef and cheese tacos, a side of beans, rice, and salsa (less than 8 oz each). Our bill was $43 without drinks. WOW! Again the food was good, but the price is outrageous.

First time trying this place. Atmosphere was pretty decent. A little small but still nice. Not too pricey considering the higher end quality of the food and pretty on par for other restaurants in the area which aren’t nearly as good. Two servers were both nice, a little scattered running around for all the tables they were trying to handle but both still nice and friendly. Food took a little while to come out but I, my wife, and even my sons to go order was all EXCELLENT. I do wish it was a little warmer but the taste itself was great! They have a few kinks they could work out but I would still definitely recommend this place. We will definitely return.

I’m not even sure where to begin. 3 of us went out there tonight after hearing great things about Zap Tacos. We left disappointed, cold, and disgusted. To start off the bar tender told us to sit wherever, and that we did. Too bad the tables that were available to sit at were ALL dirty. Ok no big deal. Waitress makes her way over and first things first…they’re out of guacamole because the avocados were HARD. Again, no biggie- it happens. We got the queso instead, and it was good. Now it comes time to order dinner and the most BIZARRE thing occurs. Our waitress picks up a very small, and DIRTY, hotdog off the floor. She then proceeds to put it on our table on a tiny, mini, plastic table that she pulled out of someplace. WHY? Why would any server pick up dirty food off the floor and put it on someone’s table? DISGUSTING! Ordering starts and low and behold they are out of pork. Ok, it happens. We order, and 10 minutes later the waitress is back at the table to tell us they are OUT OF cod now, so that taco is off the menu. Change the order again and patiently wait, hoping the food will be worth it. Food arrives. It’s room temperature AT BEST. Not hot. Not fresh. Thrown on a metal tray, and the smallest tacos I’ve ever gotten. Things really take a turn at this point because in one of my friend’s tacos there was a very long hair. DISGUSTING. We send the food back and ask for new tacos for her. At this point the waitress hasn’t come back to the table at all, and the young girl who brought out the food also took the food back. When the waitress does come back, my friend had finally gotten her new and hopefully hair free tacos. She apologizes when we tell her, and was relieved it wasn’t her hair. There was nothing taken off the check for the hair in the food, or even a drink or dessert offered for the poor experience. It was beyond cold in there, and it probably didn’t help that we sat close to the door. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would never go back. The food has potential. The flavor is there, but it was cold, and the portion size was tiny! You want to serve “elevated tacos” ranging from $6 to $7 for one taco then they had better be hot and a decent size. Also, maybe stock your kitchen appropriately for the things you offer on your menu, because being out of 3 difffernt things is poor business. It seemed like they were understaffed, and the majority of their staff seemed extremely young (high school), and inexperienced. When we left our waitress was busy running her hands through a gentlemen’s hair at another table…so there’s that.

wonderful place. literally speechless, first time there today and an amazing experience. very millennial place, super sweet. food is so worth the price, i thought 7$ for a taco was crazy but honestly the way there tacos are unique and delicious it doesn't even matter. everything is full of flavor

I usually come here once every 2 weeks. Yesterday visit the food was awful. Not up to par. Who’s doing QC. The restaurant was full and service great. My food experience. No pork tacos, its 5:30 pm and it already ran out?? Thats bad planning. So I order chicken. In pic that was what fell out of taco. It great u want to stuff it but it just fall apart and was dry. This is not child friendly. Coulda made 3 tacos with spillage. Maybe some extra tortillas? The house chips our nice but the salsa, way to hot. Not like that before. 15 min to wash the heat out of mouth. Noticed lots of families with kids. They not going to eat it like that. Seems to be no consistency in heat of salsa when I go here. Last I ordered my Guacamole with no pico, cilantro and onion. Its says made to order on menu. The girl brings out after they make it and says the cook wouldn’t add onions. I should have returned it. I love salt but it was like 4 times salty than normal. I couldn’t even finish it. What a food disaster. Time to take my reg business elsewhere. This happened eve Feb 15 2024.
