Nice sized coffee shop, plenty of sitting. Good sized menu and able to whip up basically anything requested. (Wife’s imitated Starbucks) Their Tiramisu Mocha was very good.Kid-friendliness: Lots of non-coffee options for the littles

I hope the counter staff person was just having a bad day, but the attitude of put-upon-ness exhibited was a lot. We requested double shot 12 oz lattes, and got snapped at that only 16 and 20 oz sizes were available. Asking for a muffin (visibly on the menu), got a snap that they were out, and a sigh and a turned back when asked which scones were in stock. The lattes when delivered had no foam layer at all. It's apparent that the community enjoys the location, and the other staff were nice and competent, bringing it up to 2 stars.

Great small coffee shop. Didn't eat any food but were a number of people seated to eat. Coffee is good, want not over roasted.

Had a couple hours to kill during a business trip to Moline. Checked out Dead Poets for breakfast and coffee. Service and food were awesome. Good gluten free options. I'm normally a basic coffee guy but ordered "the poe" and it was excellent. Will def check out next time I'm in the Quad Cities.

So..today up early and felt that a good cup of Joe was needed. So I stumbled upon this little store tucked into the nooks of the building . I walked in, and the aroma was swirling in the air, and I knew it was the right place. Walked to the counter, which is in the back corner and greated promptly. Took my order as a "redeye" 6 shots of espresso and filled the rest with amazingly good coffee. The place seems like it does make our lives extraordinary with their cup of joe.

Small cafe, in the revitalized port region. Cozy atmosphere.

I loved the atmosphere. We ordered energy drinks and they were pretty forgettable. They had little flavor and were mostly ice. I will try coffee next time.

Very good coffee and cheese curds from a local dairy, great decor, friendly staff. Nice to see such a well attended little coffee spot. Looking forward to my next visit.Vegetarian options: Unclear if the cheese curds are vegetarian, but there is at least one veggie sandwich on the menu.
