I’m never disappointed when I go to this location. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is never lacking. Great choice when you need a reliable place to eat you know won’t let you down!

Same old fun retro diner atmosphere. Nice waitresses that got to me promptly. Sausage links were under cooked and jelly like on the inside. Scrambled eggs were slimy and not at all fluffy. Hash browns tasted slightly sour. Best part was the toast, but that should be impossible to screw up. Thought this place was making a return but they got a lot of work to do. Watched the cook get corrected on orders three times while eating, including my order.If you want breakfast there are way better options for the same price, try Meli's in Moline or Pancake House in RI.

This post is going to be a hard one. I have been going to this particular Maid Rite since the 80's with my dad. We saw servers come and go staying friends with most of them. During Covid we stayed loyal to help the restaurant out and keep them open. I lost my dad to Covid in 2021. Since then my family and I have been going 2-3 times a week sometimes even more often for the service and ambiance we loved it. Over the past 3-4 weeks things have changed service has gone downhill. The new manager is completely rude to the staff making it almost unbearable to be there. Coffee has grounds in it and the regular staff that has been there for years is no where to be found. It's Sad to say but I don't think we will be going back anytime soon. It's not the Maid Rite it was last month. Every time I go in there are less and less regulars. So if anyone knows a good diner with similar ambience in the QC let me know. Oh and this is the managers idea of pancakes-raw on one side with onions on the other smh! I hope they bring back the old staff so us regulars can return to our spot!

Ordered take out,had no ice cream,fries were ok but the maid rites had over done meat,you would think at 6pm would be the best time to get fresh not over done meat. Need to do better,that's why I don't come here as often as I used

Overpriced maidrite, definitely not worth their menu
Nadia was a horrible server! Getting her to come back to our table was ridiculous. Not busy either. Was back talking with coworkers. My mom has Philly and it was cold. My sister had breakfast and was cold and eggs were done wrong. I had cheese rites which were great though. I will not be back.

I remember the old days when the food at maidrite was excellent. How can you mess up breakfast! Toast was burnt, no butter on the toast, hashbrowns tasted like they sat in grease over night, I watched the cook take my link sausages out of a deep fryer basket so that explains why they were hard as a rock and burnt. I had scrambled eggs and it was the only part of my breakfast that was halfway decent. I'm done with maidrite forever!!!! I can't recommend anything here at the 16th street location! Nasty!

This place has REALLY gone down hill! Went in Friday night at 6 pm, was craving a BLT. I ordered the BLT club basket with a vanilla shake, hubby ordered a megarite basket with a strawberry shake. The table across from us sat dirty, with food and plates piled on it for the entire duration of our stay, which took forever because the two employees had no pep in their step. I get my good, no lettuce on the blt and very little mayo. I felt like I was eating a piece of plain toast and the bacon was burned to a crisp. Hubby's megarite was so full of grease he had to wipe it off with a napkin. I asked the waiter if he knew what was on a BLT. He came back and said the cook said they were out of lettuce, he could give me 2 bucks off or take my food and I eat nothing, hungry and it was later in the evening I choose to eat it, terrible idea. He also did not give us straws for the shakes, when we complained, he simply gave us the managers number, terrible service and food, minus the fries.

Cute place but dirty! The windows are smudged with whatever it was. Waitress told us to find a table, we looked at 5 booths that were not wiped clean from previous patrons…I ordered the mega rite with cheese. It was only slightly warm so I asked for it to get warmed more, the slice of cheese on the sandwich still had some of the plastic from the wrap still on it. The waitress did t charge us for that sandwich or our drinks. But I’m still giving this place a thumbs down
