I cautiously entered the aging bowling alley to decide for myself if Boba Burger is as good as I've heard. After circling the parking lot to find a space during league play it better be.The menu is a big sign on the wall and there are a lot of interesting choices. The prices are good, too. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Seoul Burger. It was simply incredible. Kimchi, kalbi glazed bacon, fried egg. A perfect blend of flavors and textures, and no cutting corners on quality. So freaking good! The Thai iced tea is delicious, too.SECOND VISIT: It was so good I had to bring my fiance back with me. I guess that friendly guy at the counter owns the place with his brother. Good folks, I enjoy talking to them. She isn't as adventurous as me and ordered the more basic Boba Burger. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly seasoned, perfect sear. She was happy. This time I tried the BBQ Lechon Burger. It isn't as over-the-top as the Seoul Burger but it was still delicious. Lechon is roasted pork belly. Paired with the ground beef, barbecue sauce, and topped with an onion ring, this is another winner.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good. The egg rolls are above average, I had to fight her for that last one. Their fries are nicely crisped and well seasoned.Bottom line: Yes, they have earned their reputation and I plan on working my way through the whole menu.Parking: It's inside a bowling alley. If there's league play going on it could be difficult finding a spot close to the door. Otherwise there's plenty of spaces.

Great burgers, great boba- what else could you ask for? I highly recommend the Hawaiian burger.

Great food. Especially love the Banh Mi with pork. This spot has the best Bahn Mi around this area, highly recommended.

Outrageous tasting food. Split the pork banh mi and the Seoul burger and extra crispy fries. This places knows flavor- the Seoul burger had so much going on but the flavors complemented each other. Not a pork fan usually, but the pork in the banh mi was so crispy and the pickled veg added a great touch. Crazy that this place is literally in a bowling alley but food is amazing. Need to try boba next time.

My family loves this place. The staff is very friendly. The food is spectacular and the smoothies are spot on. The have a Vietnamese iced coffee is SO YUMMY! It's linked to a bowling alley, but this should have it's own stand alone location. I fear the location maybe "hiding" this gem. From the outside, you would not expect to get the kind of food quality and gourmet flavors this place is serving up. If you like burgers, this place should be on your Bucket List.Kid-friendliness: My kids have always been treated well. No side eyes. The place does not have a kids menu, but if needed, you can always split the burger. They are huge. And the fries can be shared because they have huge portions.

What a great find, and in a bowling alley. Great burgers, Banh Mi, Asian Chicken salad. Liked it so much we visited twice in one week! I'm meeting a friend there on Friday. She loves burgers and hasn't been there yet. She's going to love it!!!!

Interesting menu concoctions and some of the best fries you'll have in your life. Staff is super friendly and efficient despite having to deal with more unsupervised teenagers and drunk bowlers than anyone should have to. Everything is made to order, so it might take a minute.

Outrageous burgers, boba and bowling? Sign me up! It's been a few years since I stopped in to Boba Burger, the restaurant inside Classic Bowl, the 1970s bowling alley. Seeing Yelp's "11 most outrageous Burgers" in the U.S., with the BBQ Lechon Burger named no. 9, made me curious so I drove to Morton Grove for lunch. Boba Burger is in the front of the bowling alley, but even so, I was confused because of the Waukegan/Caldwell street merge directly in front of Classic Bowl. I may have even made a somewhat unorthodox turn into the parking lot. There is ample parking. Enter Classic Bowl and then enter Boba Burger on the left. Unassuming, small, somewhat retro-looking -- hey, I got no Beef with that. I was flipping excited. I ordered the Seoul burger, 6 oz beef patty, cheese, kimchi, kalbi-glazed bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato-- as well as some Boba hand-cut fries. Also, I added an avocado smoothie with boba. Shall I recap? Lettuce dive in! A juicy delicious burger, reasonably priced, is a rare find! Did it meat my standards? I mustardmit it did! The burger was juicy, tasty with the addition of the kalbi bacon (nice and crispy), kimchi (more like a sauce), fried egg and nicely toasted bun. The only thing I did not relish was that the bun soon fell apart. They provided me with a knife and fork so I was able to finish the rest. Well done! The hand-cut fries were nicely browned, a little soft, but lightly salted and a generous portion. The avocado smoothie -- large, green, filled with soft and chewy boba -- let's face it -- it was not avocado this world, but it was tasty and good to try. I will try the BBQ Lechon on another visit. There are other interesting options that sound good also. Do I think that Boba Burger deserves the attention? Grill, you better believe it! As I said, a juicy delicious burger, reasonably priced, is a rare find!
