“We absolutely LOVE LaGondola. I moved out of state over 20 years ago, but every time we're back in the area to see family LaGondola is on our checklist. I've never visited the Morton, IL location before and the building leaves a lot to be desired, but the food and service was perfect! We were going to dine in, but it was freezing cold in there and although we didn't ask, we also didn't find a bathroom so we decided to take our food to go and hit a gas station with a bathroom on our way out of town. I'd recommend everyone to pick up some LaGondola for a great meal! Thank you!“

“We stopped in for lunch. Wife had lasagna and I had baked cheese Ravioli. Clean, very efficient and the wait was perfect. We enjoyed a quiet lunch together and the atmosphere and staff were amazing. Not something you get at a fast food or a busy name brand restaurant. I Highly recommend this place.“

“One of our favorite places to eat at because you def get more bang for your buck. We get the family feast with bread, and add the cinnamon bread which is absolutely delicious. This meal can feed my family of 4, twice for under $40!The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and it’s so easy when your in a hurry to just grab and go through the drive thru.“

“Just held a Celebration of Life at Bernardis in Washington and it could not have been more perfect!! Stephanie helped me set it up EVERY step of the way. The staff was incredible and the service was better than ANYWHERE I have been. They handled our very large group flawlessly! The food was incredible and everyone in attendance remarked about what a nice event this had been and just how nice the severs were and how Great the food was. They really thought of EVERYTHING including books for the kids, a dessert tray for our use and extra tables for pictures. JUST PERFECT!! “Mothers Day Brunch- There was so much that was wonderful ( ambiance, service, food presentation, cocktails), but as others have noted, food comes out cold. Gravy on biscuits had visibly been sitting - butter on cold waffles not going to melt -cold potatoes with omelet. They have food runners, so something they need to work out in kitchen. Maybe new brunch menu was challenging, but many other reviews also mention cold food. Still a beautiful space with great service and would try again .“

“LaGondola has the best garlic bread with cheese. I have yet to find anything on the menu that isn't good. I love the convenience of the drive up window for to go orders. Friendly and fast staff every time. I've never been disappointed with any of the locations.“

“Dined in last night, 12/22/2023 with a party of 3, was greeted by a delightful hostess that was charming along with a superb server who catered to our every need which included coming 6 times to give me delicious Peoria water. I commend the chef with the best veal parmigiana I have had in Illinois! Tender lightly breaded veal smothered with a delicious marinara accompanied with a delicious a la carte sauteed fresh zucchini. The ambiance is delightful not like other restaurants in the area where you feel like your crammed in like sardines and can't have a nice conversation like Rizzi's on Sheridan in Peoria. Make sure and call after 12 noon to make your reservations at Paparazzi's for a most delightful and delicious dinner. I can't wait to return and try out their Eggplant parmesan.“

The outdoor seating has a few "street tables" and is boxed in a well-decorated area.OVERALL: The place has a modern Italian theme with newly renovated restrooms. A private booth seating area, three private party areas, and a bar with high-top tables exist.SERVICE: Service is exceptional, and the servers are always friendly and attentive. Food is typically served in a timely and pleasing manner.IS IT CLEAN? Yes, the floors and tables are consistently clean even when busy. “Placed an order online, have done a dozen or more in the recent past. Was notified the order was ready, was 5 minutes away. Arrived, not ready. After checking, they said “it’s in the oven”. Gave me the pizza 30 minutes after it the app said ready. Now, the pizza was right, hot and delicious. The systems aren’t working! OWNERS/MANAGERS, your systems aren’t working! Your employees seem confused because your SYSTEMS ARN’T WORKING! Numerous others waiting, said their’s were done too, but not.“

“I will say the food is always good! The spaghetti fest bucket could be filled up more instead of half way but other then that I love this places food.On the other hand. No matter how many times me or my boyfriend or both of us go in the girls working are always extremely rude or disrespectful. I try to be understanding and smile at them but there customer service skills are very poor but as I said I'm understanding.It's 2023 no one wants to work or everyone's under staffed. “Ate there with my daughter last night. Went to eat in the east dining room and it was freezing cold. Told waitress and she mentioned the other dining room with fireplace. They carried our food in there and they actually lit the fireplace for us! They are so friendly and accommodating! And the food was excellent! We WILL be back! “One of our favorite places! Food is consistently appetizing and service is great even when they are super busy. We went in Saturday around 530 without reservations, which we usually make. They were able to seat us on the patio, which was perfect, the weather was beautiful. Our server had several prom couples at the same time, but remained just as attentive and dedicated to us on the patio. My favorite dish is the Chanel No. 5, but we had Cesar salads and a Little Italy Combo, which was a ton of food. I also recommend the Citrus Basil or Italian Wedding Cake Martini.“
