“It was my first time visiting here and it was such a splendid experience! I went for lunch and the food was delicious. I got the salmon salad which came with candied pecans, carrots, and cranberries and a smoky blue cheese dressing! For $16 the plate was huge of salad and a decent sized salmon piece. The waitstaff were immediately kind. I would love to go back and try the quiche. I will be back again. Thanks for making us feel welcome for lunch!Vegetarian options: There are salad and soup varietiesDietary restrictions: There are salad and light options availableParking: Free 3 hour street side parking but when busy it is hard to find parkingKid-friendliness: I would not think that this would be a place for kids, this is an appropriate place for celebration dinners, wine nights, ladies evening night out and date nightsWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp outside“

“This is a cool local spot. Order anything Mac n Cheese related on the menu and you will not regret it. The nachos were great too. It's a nice atmosphere with a friendly wait staff. It is also quite lively, at least the two times we went there, which can be nice.“
“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“

“Great place to hang out with friends. It had live music Saturday night and it's a busy place. It's a small space with an enjoyable atmosphere. The cocktail are delicious and there are little card games on the side for public use.Would definitely come back!Parking: Would need to park on the street a block or 2 away, or across the street somewhere else. There is no parking lot attached.“
“The staff is absolutely outstanding. I never wait long for a drink even if it’s packed. The two female bartenders are especially adorable! They are always so sweet every time I’m there. The other male bartender is also amazing and always so welcoming. Definitely a great spot to check out. You definitely wont want to leave after just one!“

“We were there on a super busy Monday. They were very polite and pretty quick to seat us. Our server had lots of tables but seemed to always be around when we needed her, which wasn't often. The pizza was really good and the kids burger looked to be fresh hand pattied. Try the rueben pizza, unbelievable ?. Can't wait to visit again.“
“We wanted to find a fun, last minute activity for my 22nd birthday, and axe throwing at Gone Social was the best choice we could’ve made! I regret not getting the name of our instructor again before we left as his name slipped my mind, but he was incredibly personable, helpful, and hilarious! I’d recommend axe throwing at Gone Social to anyone in the Peoria area looking for a fun and competitive night!“

“Stopped in here a couple times while on vacation. It's one of our friend's favorites. In particular we had hands down the best service on April 16th. We left the Journey concert and drove around looking for food. There was another place open that would only serve drinks and wouldn't cook food and they were rude about it. But that's ok bc they took care of us at Jimmy's. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, cheese curds, and a drink. Wonderful! Thanks so much!“

“I know Steve and Reba, They are a great couple. They've ran this far very well, they have awesome staff, it's definitely a neighborhood spot which I left to would love if I grew up in the area and this is where everybody knows your name whenever I'm in the area. I have to take a moment to stop and say hello to old friends And also to enjoy the ambience They always have good service. And when they do serve food, it's awesome.Totally enjoy the Time I spend there.Parking: If you catch it on the wrong time there isnt a lot of parking. And wheelchair accessibility is not the best but Definitely doable, especially if you know anybody in there. They're always willing to help“
“From everything I've read about this place, it seems like it's very friendly and that they also have wonderful service staff where you feel as if you are right at home. I'd definitely recommend this place to go for a nice, friendly like neighborhood corner bar. Folks, don't miss out on feeling part of another friendly family like people and stop on in for a nice meal or even a cold beer or soda“

“Not many of the old neighborhood bars left in Peoria any but this is a great one. The neighborhood itself isnt what it used to be, but a good group of regulars make this still a good place. Whitey serves up great lunches also. Basic cheeseburger, wings and pizza and cold drinks!“
“A GREAT local crowd that loves music, sports, game shows & welcomes newcomers. If you are new to the area, you'll NEVER feel uncomfortable in this house! Awesome service from the funny & fun~loving bartenders. They never let you down!“

“First place that flet like home since moving here. Also having my go-to beer is a major plus. Not many bars around here carry Michelob Amberbock. Nice patio too! EDIT: went back tonight for karaoke. The crowd was amazing and Brandi recognized me and memorized my drink. Friendly locals and yeah dude, this bar has me. I'll be back!“
“Pour your own beer! How could you not love that? And the service when you want food or don't feel like pouring a beer (some people don't) is just great. Trivia on Wednesday actually improves on an already fantastic place! Beer and food selection are both excellent!“

“This is a nice place. It fits the discription of a cozy neighborhood tavern perfectly. The bartender made me feel welcome by noticing that I walk with a cane and holding the door open for me. My daughter, friend and I ordered small pizzas. We munched on freshly popped complimentary popcorn ?, while waiting for our pizzas. The pizzas were very good and hot. The bartender offerered us ranch dresssing and tiger sauce to dip our pizzas in. Both were delicious. I forgot to take pictures again! Darn!“
