I came to Andy's with some friends after they were shocked that I've never tried it or heard of it. It was on the colder side for a spring night but that didnt stop anyone craving something sweet. I was surprised to see such a long line for the drive thru. But it goes quickly. We decided to park and order at the walk-up window. Depending on where you park you can get blocked in by the drive thru lane. They don't have seating. It is a walk-up order counter. I like the fact that they had heaters in the standing area to help keep you semi warm. There's a lot of different options for mix ins on their menu ranging from sweet to savory. I decided to go with a small concrete butter pecan. The custard is very creamy and it's cool to see it being freshly made. The quality of the pecans really made the concrete. I would definitely stop by Andy's again to try some different creations.

I've been to Andy's Frozen Custard many times before, and I've always left pleased. This time, my husband and I went here after a friend wanted to get some dessert after dinner. We came on a cold March evening. I was amazed to see a long of people out for frozen custard. There was a huge line at the drive-through and a good line at the service window. I ordered the triple chocolate concrete. This had chocolate frozen custard, chocolate chips, and cookie dough pieces. The frozen custard is light and airy. So even though I had just eaten a large meal, I didn't feel super full. The line moved fast despite the number of customers. I will definitely be coming back to try more creations. I highly recommend Andy's Frozen Custard!

Great place to grab a nice dessert after dinner. I ordered a simple vanilla custard in a bowl with sprinkles. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Workers were polite and quick.

Such fast service. It’s unreal how quickly they get you your custard after you place an order. The only time you wait is when there are 25 other people ahead of you because of how amazing Andy’s is.Parking: Small number of spots available that will be very difficult to get in the summer months. Luckily most are parked only briefly to get their streets before departing.
On 2/18/24 around 4pm, my husband and I decided to take a drive to get out of the house. Decided to get a sweet treat. Have never been to this restaurant before so decided to check it out. We decided to go through the drive thru. Once ready to order we pulled up and a young woman exited the restaurant to take our order. Unfortunately, the young woman was extremely rude taking our order and we could tell something was wrong. Then as she’s walking back inside, we hear her exclaim to a coworker “they were literally so annoying”. How unfortunate…. We had a very basic, uncomplicated order and have no idea why we were “annoying”. Completely ruined our experience and mood. We won’t be returning here, too many places to get a quick dessert. Hope she treats other customers with more kindness in the future.

I. Love. Andy's. I've been coming to Andy's for over a decade, when the nearest location was Bolingbrook. My girlfriends and I would make a night of it, driving over an hour to Bolingbrook to visit our friends who lived in the area and then, you guessed it, stopping by Andy's for some frozen custard. Having one in Mt. Prospect definitely beats having to drive over an hour. This location is very cute and has a few benches outside (no seating indoors) which is great for when it's warm out. There is a drive through which is very convenient for colder weather Andys cravings and all employees are very friendly! My go to order is the StrawAna sundae. Definitely give Andy's a try!!!

Exceptional service. Usually every Andy’s is the same great service, but something about this Andy’s location is just better. The workers are so kind and double check to make sure everything is correct. They even put my ice cream in a bigger container to make sure none of the toppings spilled out. Great work guys!
