My friend and I dined in earlier this week, and weren’t super satisfied with the dishes we ordered. We ordered the Caesar salad, Fried Calamari, and the Pesto Gnocchi. The dressing on the salad tasted more like ranch than Caesar and the calamari came out room temperature. Also, we were disappointed with the pesto gnocchi, as the sauce was more of a pesto cream rather than pesto itself. However, we may have just missed that description on the menu when ordering.Although we were disappointed with the food, the cocktails we ordered were good, and our server was wonderful— very attentive and made our dining experience lovely.

What a fantastic experience! First time at Canta Napoli tonight, and my kids are already asking when we can go back. Amazing food, attentive and friendly staff, AND the kids got to make their own pizzas. It was a BLAST. Definitely will be back soon!

A little local gem!! We came here on a Thursday night and had the pleasure of being served by Antonio- he was very friendly and great at serving us! The restaurant wasn't too busy but he did mention it had been a slow week for them. The place itself has great dim lighting perfect for a night out to unwind. Very clean and cozy atmosphere as well which I always appreciate. Food was amazing! My boyfriend and I tried out the bruschetta (amazing 10/10) , sausage and peppers (also amazing 9/10), sausage and spinach pizza (super good and not too heavy 8/10, Caesar side salad which was ok (5/10) and bolognese ravioli which was amazing! We paired our dinner with a few cocktails as it was the special of the day- $5 martinis!!! Unheard of! And they were delicious. We will totally be back and can't wait for the outdoor seating to be open this summer.

Very disappointing. I've been here a few times trying to give it the best review I could but, they're just not that good. The food is really really not good. I know they have great pizza, but trying other dinner and lunch items, it just falls so so short. The service is also another bad contender in the area. When I've gone for lunch, the manager or owner was very very attentive, he makes the place a lot more better, seems very friendly and happy to work there. Dinner however is another story, which is why I have to rate it low. Our server wasn't attentive at all. We only saw her maybe 2-3 times over the course of 2 hours that we were at the restraunt. When we did see her, she was engaged in a conversation about a TV show with another table for a good 10 minutes. All we wanted was water. In terms of the food, Just not good. I know they have a reputation for good pizza, but wanting Italian we opted for more "easy" dishes. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was abysmal, equivalent to a highschool lunchroom, the bruschetta, apple slices and cream cheese on bread. Yea, alright.Overall, I've been here a few times, its been ok-ish, but the last visit really sealed the deal, just go to Olive Garden down the road instead.

Not good food at all. I wouldn’t even call it mediocre cause that’s giving it too much credit. I ordered a big order for some coworkers and I through Uber eats. Everyone was unsatisfied with the food. It didn’t come with the sides it said and it was not at all like any type of Italian I’ve eaten before. I ordered the gnocchi and it was falling apart on the fork. It was soggy, and almost seemed undercooked. Everyone’s food seemed that way.

We came there and ordered traditional pizza, chocolate mousse cake and tiramisu cake. We really liked pizza and chocolate cake. They still should work on tiramisu taste. Service was excellent! Definitely will come again.

Service was good and the place looked nice. Our appetizer (Italian poutine) was great. Our mains, however, were terrible. The soup I ordered (creamy chicken) had a pudding-like consistency from the rice being overcooked. The mushroom risotto that followed was so bland, weird consistency and just tasted bad. Husband ordered the steak with potatoes and chimichurri; the two pieces of steak were from obviously different cuts, and they were well done even though he asked for medium rare… it was dry and no chimichurri came with it.Overall we were very disappointed, spent 100+ dollars on food we ended up bringing home and tossing in the trash the next day.

My daughter and I had an amazing meal in November. At first we walked by the restaurant thinking it may be too high end and expensive, but 2 other restaurants in the area were super busy and our wait was going to be 40-45 minutes so we circled back and gave it a try.Not only did they seat us right away, but the food and the service were superb. I debated about review them since it seems like the best kept secret for locals, but I want them to continue to benefit from good ratings.

Michael, the owner, provided us with extraordinarily service: nice, patient and funny. The food was very yummy; the location was nice and clean.

Shout out to Canta Napoli. They got slammed after the Mount Prospect Christmas tree lighting ceremony and handled it with grace! Although everyone came in pretty much at once the staff made their way around the room in a timely manner. No one seemed to wait long for anything. And the food was great! Thank you!

I went there for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday, which is half price wine bottles night. I didn't try any of the wine, but the service was great. I had a good caesar salad and autumn tortellini. We also had bruschetta with the Siracha drizzle and the calamari for appetizers. Both of these dishes were great, but the bruschetta was the best bruschetta I've ever had. The combination of the ingredients really work well together. The tortellini were cooked perfect and the sauce was great. I would have liked salt and pepper on the table, but it was still a very tasty dish. I'll be back again.
