This has become our favorite place for soups, salads, and sandwiches. Good choices that have excellent proportions and not break the bank.

We usually order for pickup. Food is always ready on time and very well prepared. Relatively inexpensive compared to similar places. All around very good. Order is usually accurate but if there is a mistake they are very nice about making it right. In fact they actually comped me on some extra soup when I accidentally ordered a cup instead of a bowl! Also their rewards program pays off regularly so I'm almost always getting a few bucks off the bill or something for free.

Paul the GM is absolutely fantastic. Had an issue prior but he called me and said ask for me next time we will make it right. They over delivered. I never complain but I was annoyed. Ive never had a corporate business call me. Side note, their staff is amazing.

Decent meal at mid-price. Healthy.Kid-friendliness: Not entertaining for kids but a place to take them.

I’ve frequented this location for lunch several times over the last few weeks. While they have a nice variety of menu options, I’ve mostly picked up sandwiches and sides before heading to work. I’ve tried a number of different sandwiches; such as their turkey club, BBQ chicken, and French dip. Portions were decent sized, and everything was fresh and delicious. Prices are on the higher end for a deli sandwich shop but still very reasonable for the amount and quality of food.

McAlister's Deli is a decent lunchtime restaurant in Mount Prospect. We had the southwestern salad and a Turkey melt half sandwich - both were pretty good, not bad. The portions are fairly large which is good because they're not cheap salads/sandwiches. I love the iced teas/lemonade that they have at McAlister's as well.Overall, nothing very special but a fine place to grab some lunch at.

1/2 soup and sandwich. Chili was terrific. Roast beef / horse radish sandwich was not good at all. I asked if it was a hot sandwich and was told it was. It was warm, at best. The bread was stale and crumbling. I discarded the bread and ate some of the meat. We don't need to go back.

Great atmosphere where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Fast service and friendly staff, but the best part is the food. Lots to choose from and I haven’t had a bad meal here. Highlights are the broccoli cheddar soup, the refillable pop/ice tea and any one of their salads or sandwiches is a good choice to be honest.
