During my recent visit, something truly heartwarming happened - I unexpectedly ran into an old student of mine. It was a bittersweet moment filled with nostalgia and joy. This experience made my time at Rainbow Ice Cream even more special, turning it into an unforgettable outing. ( I'm still young BTW ) The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel welcomed from the moment you step in. The icing on the cake is the fact that it shares space with Buona Beef, ensuring there's enough seating for everyone. Not as loud as expected and the dinning room was clean offered a lot of natural lighting. I highly recommend Rainbow Ice Cream for its top-notch service, tasty treats, and the potential for lovely surprises like mine. It's a definite must-visit!

Rainbow Cone is a Chicagoland staple! It's nice to see these pop up more and more throughout the suburbs.

Beyond disappointing - Rainbow Cone is one of my favorites, but tonight, when I ordered a quart of ice cream, my family and I found a large hair in the container - mixed in with the orange sherbet. Totally disgusting and unacceptable. I guess the employees don't contain their hair when dealing with food. I'm glad we looked at the tub before scooping; unfortunately we threw it all away. What a waste! To add insult to injury, I called Door Dash and they refused to issue a refund - instead saying they're escalating it to their "health department", which means I'll never hear from them again.

This is a unique ice cream offering that my son and I really enjoy. Pro tip you can ask for certain flavors to be omitted as well. Everyone was friendly and you can also grab a beef while you are here, since it is attached with a Buona Beef!
