Our server was great. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. Unfortunately, the facility needs cleaning detailed in a big way. Those of us who live in Mt Vernon deserve better choices in restaurant options. If our local Applebee's were to clean up the place and remodel, more people would come, and business would be better.

Tables sticky, window sills filthy. Waitress did her job but that was it. She could of cared less whether we were there or not. Food was good. Salad came with the entree. Would of been nice to have prior so my main meal didn't get cold. Manager made his way by and was courteous.

We visited this franchise Saturday, March 23rd, we had received a gift card for Christmas and decided to cash it in. We hadn’t been back here in years, since our last unpleasant visit. It was supposed to be an enjoyable date night for me and my husband. Upon arrival, they were busy, to be excepted for Saturday evening, but we were sat quickly. We arrived around 6. Our waiter came by and took our drink and appetizer order, I asked for a recommendation on the Bacardi Rum Buckets and our waitress informed us that she was not over the age of 21, so she did not have a personal preference, but that the most popular was the Tropical Mama, so I ordered that as well as a glass of water, along with my husband. We waited 30 minutes to receive our drinks, and placed the rest of our order. Our server apologized saying she forgot and that it was her 3rd night and she was now by herself, inexcusable by management which was no where to be found. We then waited another 30 minutes, and at this point ready to leave, to receive our appetizer. Our waitress quickly dismissed herself before we could ask for refills or a status of our entrees. We then waited an HOUR to receive our entrees, we were fuming at this point because our waitress was nowhere to be found and we just wanted to go boxes, and our check. My husbands meal, the Prime Rib dipper, looked like it had been through a tornado and the so-called Ajou was grey and looked sickening. We finally got our to go boxes and our check, $70 and 30 minutes later, to leave the establishment around 9pm.This location has been horrible for awhile and has proved itself to not have changed in years, but as long as the owners are making money, I doubt anything will be changed ever.Go spend your money somewhere locally owned.

Service was kinda slow, even on a slow night. The Order:BOURBON STREET MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERSmall yet juicy and full of flavor. The house-made garlic mayo really sealed the deal on this meal. Was sadly very plain when it comes to toppings. Nothing other than mushrooms and sautéed-onions on a nice oiled bun. Paired with salty fries.8/10Not the best I've had, but overall a great taste.

Went out with a party of 9. Took 45 minutes to seat us and about an hour and a half for us all to get our food. Our server was sweet and she was dealing with a lot. We learned that there was a wedding and the manager took people with him to this wedding. The place was busy being a Saturday night and employees were walking out as in leaving their job. Quitting. We didn't get to eat together because another server had taken a couple of our dishes to a different table. Our server was trying to explain everything to us and we understood she kept her cool through everything though. I wish I could remember her name. My 9-year-old gave her some of his money as a tip. It was so sweet. The manager is very lucky to have her. If it wasn't for her our experience would have been horrible. Both bathrooms were disgusting, in the men's bathroom they had some type of dishes in the sink area. My boyfriend said it smelled really bad of old food because of the dishes. In the women's bathroom there was trash all over the floor and only one stall had toilet paper. The hostess was not very professional she had a very bad attitude. The food was good even though we didn't get to eat it together.Kid-friendliness: My six year old was interrupting our server because she was "starving" and our server promised her that she would bring her food out as soon as it was ready and she did. She got to eat first. And she also made sure my other 2 younger ones had their drinks refilled when they were empty. My 9-year-old gave her a $1.70 tip. We gave a $30.
