They struggled with some quality and employees issues a while back but they have really turned the ship around in the last couple of months. The owner got rid of the bad workers and improved the pizza products significantly. Their thin crust pizzas are now the best in the area and rival many places in Chicago. A buttery crust is topped with delicious sauce and cheese. The oregano-leaning seasoning is just about perfect and toppings are fresh and tasty. The workers greet you and are very polite. They are now my go-to in Mundelein by a mile.

Pizza was good but nothing to write home about. Place was local for where we stayed. $40 for a large Lake Shore meats pizza and garlic bread with cheese that sadly was a disappointment.

great pizza and friendly staff. the pizza slices they have ready to go are great and price isnt bad either. If you're looking for deep dish, their deep dish is still my favorite deep dish pizza so far (yes, i prefer it over Giordanos, Lou Malnati's, etc). Definitely recommend!
Ordered 14-inch thin crust Lakeshore drive pizza. Perfect! Love that it was recommended to me. Great customer service. We will be back.

Update to my earlier review. I've ordered three more times and the pizza has been perfect each time. Hopefully my earlier experiences were an aberration and they're now hitting their stride. The pizza is really good. The people there are personable and attentive. It's the go-to for pizza for my family.

Ordered a pizza with a few items including pepperoni, got it home and it was mush. Called up and they blamed me for ordering a “vegan” pizza…with pepperoni. I don’t think so. Person on phone had bad attitude, insisted I made mistake instead of offering to remake it the way I wanted it. Bye bye Buddyz!

Edit**I love coming here, the people who work here treat the customers so nice and call you by name if you are a repeated customer, something about their Italian beef with mozzarella is just mouth watering and leaves you full and doesn’t break the bank. I tip every time I come here because they genuinely deserve it, thank you buddyz for your wonderful service.Below is my original review from my first visit4 stars because the food was great… But you hate to walk in and pickup and you notice there’s no air conditioning for the employees! It was literally 90 degrees today and in there it was much hotter and I wasn’t even standing by the oven. This is unacceptable and honestly wrong. I hope for the employees sake it’s fixed soon.

I got the deep dish with tomato mozzarella and basil. There were plenty of tomatoes as a topping but the deep dish wasn't too deep which was kind of nice actually. I could eat two slices and not really feel bloated like a regular Chicago style deep dish. I also got a side of the chicken wings which were pretty good too. I'll definitely be coming back to this place. Highly recommended.
