Had a lobster tail.had a membrain on the bottom.made it almost impossible to eat.why is this not taken care of in the kitctenPayed.a lot for nothing.had lobster 3 times.buy cold water.they use warm water.had lobster 3 times.should have learned my leason.blame nobody but me.cannot beleive i am the only person who complained about this.

Old, rustic seafood restaurant. The food was very well cooked and delicious. Never had seafood Wellington, and it didn't disappoint. Cooked to point not chewy well seasoned. Vernon has lots of choices, but seafood not too many. You won't go wrong with Dover Strait.

Nice atmosphere good live music. Had the Mahi didn't care for it tasted old so didn't eat it but the others like their dish tuna and scallops and shrimp wellington. The deserts & appetizers were good.

A notable touch was Bill, who took the time to introduce himself, adding a classy and personal touch to our dining experience. The beverage selection, featuring the Key Lime Martini, Dragon Martini, and Calypso Coffee, impressed with generous portions and delightful flavors. The Blackened Seafood Platter appetizer showcased quality and quantity, preparing us for the outstanding soups to follow--Clam Chowder and Seafood Rice Soup, both notable highlights. The Alaskan Halibut and Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp entrees demonstrated the restaurant's mastery in seafood preparation, delivering dishes with rich flavors and impeccable cooking. We had the most wonderful date night here tonight! We made a reservation for 6pm and were seated promptly. Our waiter Frank was VERY well aware of what was GF and safe for me to eat. The owner and waiter were incredibly nice throughout our stay and treated us like family; we felt at home. The drinks were delicious, seafood was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and we loved the restaurant feel. They had a nice band/saxophone artist play live and a few couples even came up to dance. Don't let the crowd fool you, the older generation is keeping this gem a secret! Cant wait to come back! Bravo Bill!

Great food, great stuff plus the entertainment is great . M Crew Band and No limits Band of Chicago are very good . I always go here if they are playing , just celebrated Valentines day last night with M crew band and it was great . I will recommend it .
