This is a real nice family type diner. Unfortunately there are plans to close for a new construction of a gas station. ?

Very dissatisfied. Building in poir condition from parking lot holes to front door. Creaky door -W D 40 guys. concrete cracking in entrance way. Many other poor looking indoor flooring to ceiling..food was iffy given how little care was taken of building problems. I see all that and Question quality of food ingredients. Service was EXCELLANT. waitress made up for everything. Wow. Still I won't be back. Waitress was excellent tho..Surely a keeper..take care of your building tho. Even carpets were disgustingly dirty.

Giving it was mother's day, the place was very busy. Our waitress was overtaxed, and confused about what table ordered what and took quite a long time in even taking our order or giving us our drinks. I had the corned beef hash skillet. The hash browns were over cooked, seemingly like it was done in a microwave where it was like a mound of mashed potatoes and we're not browned crispeed at all. Bland and tasteless. My son had the ribeye which was very good. This was my 1st time going and probably my last.

Been there 10 time and the food is great.Greek egg lemon soup is very good.The blueberry pancakes are incredible, they just don't dump a can of blueberries pie filling on top of it.The staff is very friendly.

Great covid-19, breakfast lunch and dinner. First time back in a long time and likely the last. VERY lax on masking. Servers and customers walking around at half mask, what do you think it is like in BACK of the house? Yuck!

I ❤️ the owner and her daughter! They are so professional and very nice. I’ve been coming here for years. I hope that they won’t ever close. There lemon soup and everything on the menu are absolutely delicious. Please don’t close down. We love you omega.....

Omega has been a Mundelein fixture for years. For those of us that grew up there it was formally Dale's coffee shop. Good food and great service.
