Panera recently changed their menu...it's called "A New Era At Panera". I miss the old era...no more sesame seed bagels, chocolate chip bagels or chive and onion cream cheese. I do not understand keeping cinnamon rasin bagels and honey walnut cream cheese on the menu. Also, the plain cream cheese recipe has changed. Now it smells like Elmers glue and tastes like stale whipped cream. The asiago cheese bagels were also overcooked to thr point of nearly being burnt. I will stop spending my money here. I can't justify spending $20+ on bagels and cream cheese. I'll try another location next time, but this is probably the beginning of the end for getting breakfast at Panera for me (at least). I wonder if Einstein Bros. is still open?

Wait time was ridiculously slow! We waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes - line wasn't moving so we parked and went inside to order to-go. That took another 25 minutes. Not good for business.

Sadly, I have found that this chain, which has always been a favorite, has now decided to shrink the sandwich protein! I reminds me of Clara Peller's commercials with my interpretation of "Where's the Beef?"

Considering you can drive down the road to the Panera in Vernon Hills - DO IT! Steer clear of this place. The service is lacking, the quality is non-existent, and this place simply doesn't deserve your money.I am not sure when it went downhill, but it did, and it went fast. This used to be my go-to Panera but after my last visit, I definitely won't be back.Ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of soup in the drive thru. The worker hands us a bag and says you're all set. We go to pull off and realize - wait a minute - something is missing. Pull back and tell the worker and he tries to make excuses. When he finally realizes he's wrong, he says "oh ya I forgot it" and goes to make it. The sandwich we brought back was a joke. My wife wants to blame incompetence and ignorance, I call it what it was, intentional lazy rudeness. The sandwich was made completely messed up, sloppy, and then when wrapped, it was smashed together so that it was inedible once we got it home. I had to throw it right in the trash!I am done wasting my time and my money. Fair warning - go elsewhere!

Mundelein is awesome, lake zurich is the slowest and worst service and vernon hills lost me as a customer because you cannot do drive thru unless done on an app. However, Mundelein is great in every manner.

Too damn lazy to clean tables. I need bench seat due to handicap and they are ALL sticky. Asked for one to be cleaned, got a handful of wet napkins. S**t service, s**t attitude
Ordered last night for my grandkids and wife. They forgot to include the bread bowl for my granddaughter's soup. So I went back with the receipt to show them what I ordered and get her the bread bowl. The manager came out and rather than saying anything like, sorry for your inconvenience, he accused me of not looking through the bag thoroughly for the bread bowl!!! Really! I drove all the way back and politely asked for the missing item and he gets ornery with me! I told him that I had looked through the bag and then he gave me the item without saying anything and with, what I interpreted, a nasty expression. Really not necessary for a lousy bread bowl! What ever happened to the customer is always right?

Long-time, very frequent Customer of Panera. Until today, a big fan of their full-size Caesar Salad with chicken, as a meal. Today I get home, open up my meal, and find that the "full-size" salad I've purchased four or five times each week - doesn't even fill half of the bowl? A $16 purchase tonight, with a portion size that wouldn't qualify as a side-salad anywhere else. In speaking with the manager, he states that all salads are weighed, and that this is what I should now expect. Probably moving me from the very loyal to the non-Customer category.

Issues with cleanliness were corrected and no longer exist. Thank you Panera Management.
