This was my second time dealing with Jeff. I first met him at his store’s smaller location in Mundelein. Then recently, I decided I wanted to get a drum smoker and I searched and found out he carried Hunsacher’s. So, I left him a message on the website and he promptly responded within an hour. We had a conversation and I explained that I wanted to see the drum smoker, but did not have much free time to do this. He is closed on Mondays, but asked what time I could be there and he would accommodate me with a meeting time. When I showed up, he was very thorough with his explanation of the drum, also during our conversation, I realized this guy is very knowledgeable on not just this drum, but all aspects of grilling and cooking! He made me feel extremely comfortable and I felt like this is a person I could a close friend with. His showroom is loaded with grills, smokers and everything you could ever need for being an outdoor enthusiast. He also is now having cooking seminars with feature individuals. When I stop by his showroom, I am usually there for a couple of hours. If your looking for a new grill or any information about outdoor cooking, you need to stop in and see Jeff. He will definitely be able to help you achieve whatever it is you want to accomplish. Thanks again Jeff!

If you are ever in the market for a smoker or grill, please do yourself a favor and go see Jeff at Smokin Deal BBQ in Vernon Hills.I was looking into a Yoder 640 and they were my nearest dealer. I called up to ask some questions and Jeff spent a great deal of time with me answering my questions and making recommendations.I ended up purchasing it. I had to drive a little over an hour to the store, but it was well worth it. Jeff spent an hour or more with me in the store explaining operations and all the features of the unit.He’ll, even if you are just a BBQ/grilling fan, just stop in the store and look around. You won’t be disappointed. I’d recommend Smokin Deal to anyone!

The second time answering all of my wifes questions. Jeff also personally delivered the smoker and spent another hour as I was setting the unit up. It's a big upgrade from my previous smoker. Jeff was awesome to work with, walking me through every last detail of the Yoder YS640 that I ended up taking home. He stocked every accessory imaginable, including every Yoder cart color and even a custom cart color (red). Honestly, if you’re serious about BBQ, you have to check this place out.
