I returned, for lunch and this time I didn't dine in. The call-in order was simple but the pick-up part not so much. The place is at capacity, I waited outside the second door to allow some people to exit because I could see that there was a line at the register. The line was not designated so two older yt men who got up from dining in and got right in from of me. I was standing adjacent the cash register so I decided to stand along the cashiers side. As I was about to pay I noticed a line had formed on the same side I was just standing and they thought I was skipping them. A more fluid process to pay would be helpful, like the waitress complete the dine-in checks so the customers are not crashing into the takeout customers. I noticed that the menu changes for lunch/dinner each week so I took the opportunity to buy two meals, save one for dinner. The turkey with stuffing, green beans and corn...4/10, I turkey was tender but the corn and green beans were dumped right out the can, no special touch, the stuffing was mushy. The chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and hush puppies was the second meal. The chicken and dumpling 5/10 was more like a chicken noodle soup with a disproportioned 75% dumplings and 25% chicken. The mash potatoes were straight out the box. Finally I got the "4 layer cheesecake" 5/10. Total cost, a wasted $35. Overall, sub par food but 3 stars bc the service is good!! Will not return, next stop...

Nothing fancy this trip, just a simple cheese burger and fries. Nice seeing a hand pressed party versus a premade. I wish I had saved room to try their peanut butter pie! Next time.

Overpriced for basic breakfast items. 3 entrees with waters should not cost $50.

Very nice and clean dinner. The cheeseburgers were great, exactly the type I was craving. The loaded bake potato was covered in cheese sauce, which, although it looks and sounds great, I would prefer just some shredded cheddar. That would be the only knock against this place. The wait staff was friendly and fantastic. This is definitely going to be our go to on the way back from Shawnee from now on.

Always a pleasure! Some of the best home-cooked styled foods I've had from a restaurant, and always so welcoming. It's a little crowded at times, but it makes it a more "come together" environment (like family gatherings!)

Small place with a friendly efficient staff. Busy on the weekends. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy. Gravy was a little bland for me, but biscuits were nice and fluffy. Eggs and sausage cooked well with good flavor. a little higher prices than what I'm used to for basic breakfast items, but a good place to go with the family.

There's too much kraut on the Reubens and not enough corned beef - however, I'm not even sure that was corned beef! I live their French fries!
