We were on a family outing and decided to surprise our kids with some ice cream. Googled “ice cream near me” and this place popped up. Looked pretty awesome and different so we decided it was worth the extra drive.It was beyond worth it. The flavor options were amazing and delicious, and the service and atmosphere was exceptional. The owner was so friendly, our portion sizes and the price was unbelievable for what my family actually got. My kids were sooo excited and the whole experience was fantastic. I would recommend Small Town Scoop to ANY and EVERYONE ❤️❤️Kid-friendliness: Wonderful place for kids. The owner was so patient with my children as they ordered and offered to let them try anything they weren’t sure about so they got exactly what they wanted.
The ice cream is delicious. The grandkids loved it! The staff was friendly. There's so much potential for this place. They have a large party room available for parties. Colorful and inviting. I would love to see this place stick around.

This is our 3rd or 4th time here and we just love the ice cream and the small town hospitality we get on each trip. For two people with 3 scoops each on waffle cones it's about $14.00, which nowadays is not too bad.The ice cream is imported from Wisconsin so you know it's good. If you're ever in Murphysboro, Illinois make sure you stop by. Yummy!
