Spouse and I arrived approximately 10-15 minutes after establishment opened. We waited and after several minutes, got the attention of someone at the bar; we were then seated. It was clear they had just then completed cleaning the restaurant and the smell of cleaner (or bleach) was strong. Our waiter Julio was wonderful. He brought out a basket of bread and the crust had been overcooked so it was not easily edible to get to the somewhat dry but fluffy interior of the bread. The Burrata caprese salad had wonderful flavor; however, the tomatoes were very underripe. The house salad was over-saturated with red-wine vinegar (am presuming it was red-wine). The cream of mushroom soup was the best thing consumed that evening. The "Angry Butterfly" dish was delicious but the side of meatballs nothing special (the texture was a tad soft for what we know as traditional meatballs and the sauce tasted like plain tomato paste). Was glad we tried this establishment since Italian is my favorite cuisine and we were celebrating our anniversary but unsure if we'd return.

There's still an old school, local Italian restaurant around, Angeli's. Food is great, servers all great, (ask for Julio) even the prices are great. If Frank, Dean and Sammy were in Naperville they would eat here.

I have Celiac Disease. Despite ensuring that I'd be safe, I was very sick after my meal. There is a gluten free menu, but i suspect dood prep isnt safe and cross contamination is likely. I will not eat here again and caution those with Celiac to eat at your own risk!

This was mine and my wife's time at this restaurant and definitely DID NOT disappoint. We had a mishap at a neighbor restaurant down the street who sort of did us wrong so we decided to try out Angeli's after a friend of mine kept suggesting it & we are so happy that we chose it. The food was A-MA-ZING & the staff was so welcoming. Tony, the owner made his way over to introduce himself and made lovely small talk with us. Our server, Anthony was FANTASTIC and gave great suggestions on food selections. Christine, another server, also came over to talk with us after hearing about our encounter at the other restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend Angeli's a place to take your loved ones to and enjoy the true comfort of Italian food, you will thank me later. Huge portion of chicken parmeson with marina that tasted like what my mom makes. Wife had vodka cream pasta which was also amazing. To top it off we had death by chocolate desert which was also amazing. I know where we will eat when away from moms cooking.

We had Valentine’s dinner 2024. It was amazing from Valerie our server to the nice guy that assisted her. We had lasagna and the scallops w angel hair special. The scallops were huge and delicious. I am a fan of The Hill in St Louis. Some say the last great Italian neighborhood in America. This is right there with that. Nice job!Parking: No problem

My only complaint was we had a 6:30 reservation, we checked in at 6:30 party of 4. We were not seated until 7:00. There really is nowhere to wait we were standing in their doorway for 30 minutes. The wait would’ve been more acceptable had the hostesses been in communication with us. I would have appreciated it had someone approached us 15 minutes past our reservation and acknowledged we were waiting and apologized for it. They could have let us know about how much longer it would be. When you are standing in the doorway 30 minutes past your reservation time without anyone talking to you from the restaurant it is pretty annoying.

Quaint italian spot with absolutely amazing food. Quiet and intimate with a rustic mom and pop feel. Great for the family as well as a date night. The chicken vesuvio and the veal saltimbocca were real winners.

Angeli's is wonderful! Staff is so welcoming. It was my first time there, which is crazy because I grew up in Naperville. My brother goes all the time. Immediately I got the vibe that this place for sure has tons of regulars. Food was great! Try the gnocchi!

Need to step up the ice cube game. Bourbon is the hottest thing now and Angeli's needs to serve them w the large craft cube.
