Went on Easter with the entire family, who were all mourning a loved one. We got there right after the brunch ended, so the restaurant was starting to slow down. Got sat at the table, which was dirty and sticky. The server told us that we were his first table, so you would think he would be ready to go. We waited over 30 minutes before he took our drink order. Another 15 minutes to get the drinks. We were there for one and a half hours before he took our food order. He was attentive to his other large group, which sat right next to us. They had their drinks and apps before he even took our drink order. Half of our food came out cold, like it was sitting for quite some time. Cold soup. Did not pre-bus our table. All the other tables left, and they were not cleared until we were finishing up. We were surrounded by dirty tables, our table was full from not being pre-bussed at all, so we started piling our dirty plates to the other dirty tables. Horrible experience. Definitely not what we were hoping for on Easter, on top of mourning our loss.

Their website did not say that their brunch ended at 3:30 pm, even though the reservation we made was for 2:45 pm for their brunch. They were out of many items because it was ending soon.

Very enjoyable Easter brunch! Server was proficient and kind. The brunch was delicious. The only complaint were the biscuits weren't warm and the carrot cake was on the dry side. We always enjoy eating at Granite City. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Thank you.

I haven’t been here for a long time and decided to invite a friend to try the happy hour. A test so to speak. We were seated at 3:30pm on Friday 3/29/24 .Love the atmosphere, loved our server and staff. Ordered beer and the chicken tenders. Neither one of us could eat the chicken tenders, they were so over cooked..? Or old? Stringy, tough, So salty, so disappointing. The cooks may need supervision?, we left without eating and still paid. We let our server know, and told her she was wonderful, but the food..! Omg please, please correct this, I would love to try the food again, at this cool vibe brewery.?

Everytime i come here, i have been happy and satisfied. With food, taste, ambiance and service. Today also, i was super happy to eat the impossible burger. It was amazing. Real nicely grilled, juicy, on a multigrain bun, with frieds. I truly relished it. My friends got chicken flatbread, soup, and fish tacos, that were amazing too. Overall, highly recommend for business lunch, dinner, including vegetarian meals.

We went on a Friday night, ordered shrimp tacos - were sweeter taste, my bad didnot notice the ingredients- it’s some Asian version. Ordered chicken tacos, pretzels, fries, and chips and salsa and couple margaritas. Not impressed with food. Drinks were ok.

My husband & I decided to go to Granite City's St. Patrick's Day brunch and really enjoyed it. The food was good and we opted for a bottle of American champagne. It was nice that we could choose which juice(s) we wanted with it. They even brought some caramel rolls to the table. Overall, it was a good deal and we got our fill. My husband even commented that he wanted to go back to the St. Patrick's Day brunch again next year! ?

We did a wedding reception at Granite City yesterday for our daughter. They handled everything flawlessly. Barb and Jeremy (our servers) were everywhere and on top of everything, even anticipating our needs. Truly a flawless execution. If only we could have the actual wedding at Granite City...
Marco was the best waiter! Highly recommend coming especially if Marco is working. Very knowledgeable and knows the menu. Super friendly :)

Great fish fry!! All 4 of us came for the fish and cold northern beer, plus to still our growler for the weekend. Service was great and our server brought us a plate full of fish for our reorders. Left stuffed and feeling great!! We live in Morris (45 minute drive) but love coming to Granite city!! Would be great if you built one in Joliet near the new casino!!!
