Their sushi is some of the freshest in the area, and the imported Toro is very flavorful. All of their food is very decadent, but it also comes at a hefty price tag. They offer welcoming services, and a clean cozy atmosphere.

Excellent sushi spot tucked away in a small strip mall on Rte 59. Everything was delicious and fresh. The miso was excellent as was the green tea. The maki were inventive and balanced. Shockingly, the food is very reasonably priced too! Highly recommended.

Always a must stop and frankly the only sushi place I ever crave when in Illinois. The ingredients are always fresh, great flavors, and they actually have raw fish not just deep fried stuff like the other sushi restaurants in Illinois. Their takeout is just as awesome as their eat in sushi and a must stop for any true sushi lover.

Cozy place. Ordered 3 smaller rolls and a Lobster roll. She brought out the 3 small rolls first and brought out the Lobster roll hot and fresh! Hidden gem. Will be coming back here again.

The ginger salad was yummy, but has extra ginger so the spicy flavor is strong. I enjoyed my steak bento box. The gyoza and tempura veggies are delicious! I was not a fan of the California roll that came in the bento. Service was good and attentive.

Got carryout from Hoshi - so I can't comment on the interior/service/etc. But I can say that the sushi is top notch. The ingredient quality really shines through - the fish is rich in color, the taste is unmatched, and everything just looked right (rolls were rolled tightly, nothing loose/undone, etc).With that said, I do think there is better value out there, as the price is slightly on the higher side and the sushi pieces are on the smaller side.
