They are authentic small family owned Philippine restaurant. They don't have sign yet so don't miss out! The tasty and fresh homemade style meals and bakeries makes this restaurant perfect hidden gems of of the Naperville. We did take out and enjoyed our family meal with made in Philippine wooden dishes.

This spot was a super great place for lunch catching up with some friends! They didn't have a big sign on the wall above them yet, but easy to find once you follow google maps, as they have a standing sign outside their restaurant! They have indoor dining as well as some picnic tables set outside. Their menu changes daily and they said they post the next day's every night on their Facebook! We all got combos that came with a LOT of rice and 2 entrees. Don't forget about their fried/bbq foods, tucked away in the corner! The front is mostly the daily stewed/saucy/noodle dishes(-: The stewed pork in shrimp paste (pork binagoongan) was very tender and had a delicious drippings/sauce that went well with the rice. The actual shrimp in the other entree (ginataang kalabasa at sitaw) was also super tender and not over cooked like some places are. It also had squash and green beans and i enjoyed that coconut milk based sauce with rice, too!! Will definitely try the beef dish (bistek tagalog) next time if it's there! Their halo halo was also perfectly balanced for someone who enjoys sweets. The taho was a good hot dessert that wasn't too sweet if eating the tofu with the liquid. They also sold pastries like the empanada (which had an interesting sweet, sandy like texture of the crust that I LOVED), egg pie, ube pandesal (I think), and more in boxes ready to eat. Egg pie was a fav of one the friends'. Would really recommend coming if you've never had Filipino food before-- the employees were super nice and patient when we were deciding our choices. The atmosphere as soon as you enter just feels super homey and comfortable!

Hands down best Filipino restaurant in the area. Food is always so fresh and cooked just like Grandma (Lola) used to make it!!! The pork asada buns taste just like siopao but not as “bready”. The adobo, menudo, kare-kare, longanisa, and afritada are my favorites! You can’t go wrong eating here for sure!!!

last night was our first time we went to this restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had great time with the attentive service, with the excellent food and wine and with the comfortable cost. We will no doubt come back in a short time.

I stumbled upon this place about a month ago and as a Filipino-American, it's hard to find really good Filipino restaurants in the suburbs without having to go to the city. While area Filipino grocery stores in the area offer not food, I've just never been fan. Mesa Manilla is 100% authentic! You can definitely tell the food is freshly made everyday and the menu changes daily. In addition to their daily hot food offerings, they also sell desserts! Who doesn't love ensymada or puto?! The prices are reasonable, too. Since I live about a mile or so, I'll definitely be stopping by a few times a month. Can't wait to try everything!

I got lost looking for it. Mesa Manila is actually right by the strip mall with Menards, right beside Kiku restaurant under the Lifesource sign. The lady who took my order was very nice. I bought beef curry, pork binagoongan, ube pandesal, lumpia toge, lumpia shanghai, beef empanada, ube cake, egg pie (all yolk), bibingka & chicken skin chicharon, all at a fair price. I tasted all of them, honestly they were all fresh and delicious. The chicharron I ate in one sitting, the lady joked it was good for our cholesterol levels . The egg pie too is quite remarkable, better than the egg pie of my childhood. For those quite tired of the day by day offerings of their local filipino food store, Mesa offers a little something not typical (like ube pandesal, egg pie, etc.). I'm glad I listened to Yelp & found this place. You also choose your food right through the glass window (with speaker system) in the vestibule with everybody wearing masks & being safe.

Support small businesses! Great fresh food, nicely prepared!

Not much choices for Filipino food. The food looked dry and sitting in the buffet for along time. I'll stick to making it at home.

Don't know anything about Filipino food, but what we had was delicious. Pork and beef skewers were large, perfectly cooked, and delish. Small, tasty, pork and vegi egg rolls complimented glass noodles with carrots, green bean, cabbage, and tiny sausage slices. A little gem. Family owned by a woman who was an architect in Manila, she was gracious, helpful, guiding her small business on the tricky road to survival in a pandemic. We were glad to help. We will return.
