Absolutely 5 stars! I picked up a cake last minute. I overheard an employee taking a call helping a customer that had many questions. The woman was so happy to answer all of the questions. My sales lady was very knowledgeable about the cakes. After just a minute or two a very beautiful lady handed me my cake and I was on my way. Not only was the shop spotless but you can tell the attention to details in the employees appearance. They take a lot of pride in what they do!

The Naperville store was my first experience with the chain. I was ordering from California for delivery to a sick relative for his birthday in a skilled nursing home in Naperville. The manager Kathy took my order and everything went well because of her attention to detail. She personally made the delivery on time and texted me when delivery completed. The product is good, but the service and consideration shown by Kathy will guarantee my future business.

These cakes are amazing, I ate 3 of them in one night, and I'm not too fond of cake either. Some of the most moist, creamy, and delightful cake I've ever had.
This bakery deserves 10 stars if it was based only on the Bundt cakes. But if you ever came to pick up these cakes in the afternoon or evening times, the staff lacks basic customer service. It's almost like you inconvenienced them coming in. I mean, is it too much to ask for a welcome when you come in or thank you after the purchase. I felt bad asking the young lady can I have my large order placed in two separate bags. I understand that long days. As a teacher, I have to put on a happy face even when life at home may not be so great. Whether I had a long day or hard day students and parents expect a good attitude. Like I said, I will be a loyal customer simply based on the bakes goods. However, if there was another option nearby, I would not continue coming here.

I ordered a cookies/cream Oreo cake on 2/16. I got home, opened my bag and of course I was given the wrong flavor, chocolate chip. I was not happy because I went in the store to buy the cake and was still given the wrong flavor. So I called on 2/17 to alert them of the mishap. I talked to the mod. She apologized and stated she would talk to the staff because they should be paying attention to what cake is put into the bag and this shouldn’t have happened. She also stated she would write my name down and I would have a credit to get the cake I paid for. I went in on 2/22 to get my correct cake. It was an older lady with blonde hair who greeted me along with an orientee. I said my name was written down and I was owed a cake. She said ok, I’ll be right back. I stood there patiently for about 10-15 mins when she came back and stated “I see your name from last yr ( I ordered 3 strawberries/Creme cakes before I boarded a plane last yr only to open the bag and see they were blueberry cakes. I hate blueberry). I stated no this was last week, I do not remember the mod name I spoke too but I gave her the specific date/time I called and told her I spoke to the mod working at that time. She stated “ok, we are calling our manager right now”. Then proceeded to come out a few mins later and state “ok, we’ll do it for you this time (as if they were doing me a favor) but next time make sure to get the managers name because she doesn’t remember… so the mod I talked too lied about writing my name down… I said “I did take her name down but forgot what it was because it’s been a long few days and I’ve had a lot going on”. Then she “yea, sure ok” basically skipped over me talking, and asked which cake I wanted. I stated the one I paid for, Oreo and she goes “yea because it’s unusual that we would give you the wrong cake twice”, as if accusing me of lying about getting the wrong cake flavor. Like who lies about getting the wrong cake flavor????? And their employees are human so mistakes do happen! Such as giving the wrong cake flavor. I was quite upset with being accused instead of just rectifying the situation and being given what I paid for. I spend tons of money on cakes every month at this location and I will not be back if this EVER happens again!
