There will be a weekend wait, but for good reason, the food. Solid flavors, attentive service, and the fastest kitchen in the State of Illinois. Five visits and my food has been noticeably quick in arriving every time. They have kitchen efficiency down. I loved the Tasty Biscuit!! It was very busy but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The server was very efficient without being overbearing. She was actually amazing. She was there when we needed her like a little fairy anticipating our needs. I was expecting a cute newly renovated diner with an updated menu which is what we got. Great breakfast/lunch place. The "gimmick" is that their breakfasts are served with big soft biscuits. Photo is off their "Nasty Biscuit," with "chicken-fried chicken" breast, shredded potatoes & biscuit gravy.
