We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and we had been hearing all good things about this place and honestly it lived upto it's reputation. Finally there was a restaurant that understood my north Indian food pallette. The food was amazing ? looking forward to going back to this place soon, to explore their extensive menu.

I recently dined at Sankalp restaurant and it was fantastic! The dosas were crispy, the sambhar was flavorful, and the curries were mouthwatering. The naan was soft and the chat items were delicious. Highly recommend for amazing Indian cuisine!

We were very exited to try this restaurant, however it fall short in all the expectations1. Price of the food is high as compared to the portion served.2. Service is very slow, they don’t bother to clear the table and serve the desert with no space on the table. Not going to this place again.

I was very excited to try this place since it had an array of options for vegeterian and jain food oer the inline menu. Went there for lunch on weekday and there were only 2 tables that were occupied including us. My first take- the chef doesn't know how to fry. They are service premade food.We ordered veg Manchow soup and gobhi appetizer besides malai kofta aka cheese dumplings in creamy sauce and paneer methi subji with naan from their menu.Soup and naan were the best- no flaws.Gobhi appetizer was very chewy and did not have any taste. It lacked salt and seasonings. The server took it back to fix it but the renewed version was even worst.Koftas in malai kofta were very hard and not edible at all. Both subji’s were cold - seemed warmed in microwave. Did not seem it was fresh food.Overall - not a good experience.

I tried their south Indian dishes and they did not taste good. Also, there were fruit flies flying over the food, that was annoying. The food quality has significantly gone other way as compared to the prior years.

food was good but doesn't worth your wait, it took almost 45 minutes for the food to reach our table and they have stupid management and under rated staff.....

Pathetic food and far from being authentic We ordered couple of idli dishes, the idlis were dry and tasted stale.the gravy used in them was tasteless. We had veg jaipuri thinking it was a rajasthani papad ki sabzi (as they claimed) Guess what.. they bought a pathetic sweet mix veg with papad on the side Don't waste your time and money here..there are definitely better places in the area

PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC Like almost all the reviews stated--this place is unfortunately terrible. Called to find hours- person who picked up didn't understand so I repeated what are their hours today- he said 930 (meaning closing time, ok). Do you have any specials today? (Meaning buffet or whatnot) He hung up. When we arrived-bad service to start. We entered and we're not greeted by the man at the front (he was on a call and never bothered to even acknowledge we were there). Another person was cleaning tables and he too ignored us. We decided to seat ourselves even though we were the only people in the restaurant. Eventually, we get some water from a young boy who doesn't want to talk (my husband speaker Hindi and he gave a quick reply and left). Another man came to take the order. We picked a few things and then asked if he had any recommendations on what was nice. He didn't respond or seem to want to help us! (Wtf?! Here's your chance to sell some more to paying customers!!!) He asked if we wanted any starters instead of giving recs. ok. We asked them to hurry since we could foretell it might be a long while if we let them take their sweet time. Starters - sucked. I almost always eat food good or bad because I hate for it to go to waste. I felt bad since the food just tasted like fried spices. I mean-- not hot spicy, just too many spices mixed in to make it taste like your eating the darn powder! Mains - some curry that tasted like I was just eating cream and butter (cashew and cream based but it didn't have any substance really) pass. Bhature bread was ok - but too oily. Tandoor hut has the best by far. Palak something (maybe tikka) masala - I've had much better. And then we had the veg briyani (nice presentation but the spices again!! Over powering - needed more yogurt to mellow it. (And btw, at the beginning we asked the waiter if we Could add egg- yes was his reply - and then when we actually ordered it, he said we can't add egg- ok. Maybe he misheard..but upon reflection this restaurant could care less about its customers. Clearly they don't know how to run a good business. Poor food, poor service. Why go back when there are soooo many MUCH BETTER Indian restaurants in the area. Hope my husband left a $1 tip since it all was such a disappointment. REALLY PATHETIC restaurant.

I came here for dosa night. The dosas were cold, under cooked and tasted terrible. The dosa selection was very limited. When I talked to the waiter to get help he couldn't care less and had a take it or leave it attitude. Priced at $14 per person this is by far the worst choice I've made in a few years for dinner. If the owners are reading this I suggest you close shop and get out of Naperville asap and spare unsuspecting customers the terrible experience of eating at suckalp.
