This place has a prime location and the ambience it's great. The reason for our rating is that although server was very nice and meant well, he wasn't very aware of a few things. He wasn't diligent on knowing what the special dish was. Also, not only he didn't bring all the food at the same time (10 min between different dishes) he and the manager try to justify as this is their style. "this is the way we do it". When I explained that we came as a group of 5 people to eat together not some people starting 10 min before the others, they looked at us as if were asking for something unreasonable. The food has good quality. The chilaquiles are the best. The bisc and gravy were not as good this time.

One look at the cocktail and food menu . . . along with the lack of clientele—irrespective of what day of the week it was—made us change our mind and go elsewhere which we were glad we did. We were expecting far more on the menu for a tapas restaurant. And the price points in my opinion were astronomical other tapas restaurants we’ve been to. I would still recommend Meson Sabika in Naperville to anyone for a true Spanish tapas experience with quality cuisine and absolute reasonable price points. There was nothing inside Santo Cielo that Wowed us. The atmosphere was decent but yet in my soul, there was nothing that gripped and wowed me Jana make me stay there or come back.We cannot rate the food because we did not stay. Based on all the Spanish restaurants we have been to, we did not want to take a chance in spending at least $100 on the limited choices that did not look appealing to us personally.

The wait staff was kind and patient, but the food was alright. Perhaps it’s personal preference, but there’s been better. Some dishes were good like the “Pappardelle de Mariscos” but other than that it wasn’t my favorite. However, I would say to give this place a try!

Really good food and service. And the atmosphere is amazing overlooking riverwalk. This is a must try.

Ok food does not make up for very poor service.I went here with friends. There were maybe 3 other tables that had people seated and then us. 4 of us ordered the same thing, with mine having 1 exception- no bacon. They messed up my order and made it with bacon, but assured me that a new one was "just behind" the others. About 30 or so minutes later my dish still hadn't been brought out and there were no updates from our server. I went to find her and found a different server who informed her. She came a few more minutes later and informed me that they had to remake the whole thing (which she said with a bit of an attitude). At this point everyone had eaten, so I canceled my order. I still did not know how long it would be, and I did not want to pay $20 to eat a meal by myself. She simply said she would remove it from the check.I understand if someone messes it up and you have to remake a dish. I do not know why it took so long, but if that is how long it takes to make the dish she should've came over and told me it would be 30+ minutes to get my food and see if I wanted an alternative item. She also could've said "im sorry its taking so long, we will comp your dish." OR comp it and ask if I wanted it in a to go box after I canceled the order (I am pretty sure I saw her throwing it out as we were getting up to leave). Then the restaurant automatically adds 20% tip AND a surcharge (again, there were at most 4 tables seated).

The downtown Naperville location is beautiful and Santo Cielo is located upstairs & has extremely large windows where you can dine and enjoy the water view and downtown highlights. However, the food is so-so and the prices are very high for what you get. We went on a Sunday and they apparently only offered a buffet which is $65 a person for simple breakfast items. Pastries, eggs, bacon, a few meat selections, etc. Not impressed by the Sunday experience whatsoever. I did enjoy a cocktail with great flavors, but they put a bunch of ice in it and served it in a fishbowl sized glass. It got watered down quickly. Overall, I was disappointed by the buffet food the most and our bill came to $190 for two ppl including the one cocktail.

Went there for the very first time recently. You can either do a paid valet or park at the garage for free. This place is located on the top floor of the hotel.I would recommend making reservations as they don’t have much space. If you can get a table next to the window you will appreciate the setting even more. This place is crowded and tables are very close to each other. One thing I did not like was I would very easily hear the conversations of people on both sides of our table and we were almost touching elbows.Food is above average but nothing very exciting. The menu is divided into small plates and large plates. I was disappointed in the quantity of food in their large plate. On a positive note, their drinks were really good. Service was very slow but was courteous.Overall I have mixed feelings about this place. I may go back there at some point in a year or so. I would suggest trying out other options before going there. You can get far more value at other Naperville restaurants.

Food and drinks are middling to average, but unacceptable for the price. Good concepts on paper, but the flavors and servings don’t deliver. Service and atmosphere is lovely (but slow for a nearly empty restaurant). I don’t plan to come back when you can get more and better at any chain restaurant.

The service here was horrible, do not recommend this place!

The drinks were good, everything else was flavorless. The French fries were not cooked well or tasty, the brussel sprouts only tasted like the bottle of vinaigrette they drowned them in, and the carrots also didn’t have a taste. The burger and the chicken adobado were also just basic and less than par. If you take into account the prices ($260 for 3 people), and knowingly pay extra for the ambiance, still this place blows and should go out business. We also waited soo long for any service each step. Honestly, we were sat 20 minutes after our reservation and the service only got more scarce. The whole place was also soo loud because people were yelling over the music.Dietary restrictions: Minimal options or accommodations for gluten allergy.

The atmosphere is amazing very aesthetically pleasing. Service is fair. Cocktails options are great and they have a decent wine list. I was definitely expecting a little more from the food. Made reservations for two on a Saturday night and ordered the Papas Fritas and Arrachera Asada and they both arrived a little cold. Would go back for the ambience and drinks only.

Love their chicken karagee baos and mocktails! That is what keeps me coming back. We recently dined on a busy Friday night and were happy with the service, the waitstaff is always so friendly and accommodating. The portion sizes are small for the price but the atmosphere and view of the riverwalk make it worth the experience.
